  1. Oh great, there goes our kid-friendly image... i think I'm bout the youngest one on the forum, and trust me pete... i don't mind. ;) his avatar reminds me of this one video i saw... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... q=jeep+fun :rotf:
  2. Your Jeep looks sex in this pic: Image Not Found
  3. Personally, I'd like an extended. No space for crap in a single, IMO.
  4. Those filters LOVE water! The help the engine drink it right up! They don't get damaged from water though, which is nice. IMO, a shield would make that filter real quality, but without the shield, you may run into troubles if you play in puddles often.
  5. That's why it makes so much torque. It's b-a.
  6. I was looking at a '00 F-350 Powerstroke to tow with, and the salesman tried telling me a '91 Chevy 1500 single cab shortbed 305 would do just as well... I second the 3/4 ton, especially since alot of Chevrolets out there are 2500HDs, which are beef.
  7. I've been slowly building my own Tire Gate. Got the frame done, which was real easy, but I've only got the bottom mounted, so it swings down like a normal tail gate. Might be nice to try that, but it'll suck to lug that weight everytime I open it. It's got wicked cool styles.
  8. I'll take mine with a Cummins.
  9. That's how I'd do it. Caliper needs replacing anyway, why not do a full brake job.
  10. My girly's madre pulled their 3 horse trailer with 2 horses in it all the time with their Durango (ZJ equivalent). It did fine on uphills, it did fine on downhills, and each horse weighed over 1,000 lbs, plus the weight of the trailer. It would still be doing it but an unfortunate accident rendered it totalled.
  11. I don't know about the 4.0l, but my 2.5l's came off easy sneezy.
  12. Free -> Do it. Cheap -> Do it, and if it's a no... decide you don't want it at that time. My 2 cents.
  13. I "roughly" had mine figured to $950. $4000 later...
  14. Your #1 problem would be brakes and #2 problem would be engine power. Uphills'd be a nightmare, and without trailer brakes and upgraded MJ brakes, downhill's be a nightmare too. I do believe with stiff enough suspension, upgraded brakes, trailer brakes, a stronger rear axle, and an engine upgrade, you'd be able to do this.
  15. Your best bet may be to contact the company. If they don't know about the Comanche header, it's the same as a Cherokee's.
  16. What are your plans for this when it's done? So far, it looks mean!
  17. You have to go to their catalog. The main page does cat-back systems, which they don't make. Here's the catalog: http://www.borla.com/media/2005borla_app_guide2.pdf Go to page 47. Comanche 4.0L 6CYL SB MT 87-90 Header 17010
  18. Borla definitely makes one. It's also about $500. The other companies I'm not sure about, because I think most of them only make it for the H.O. motor, which was introduced in '91.
  19. Well, it was actually a U'Pull'It, but I think it's the same thing. They had a Comanche with a nice bed, but while pulling off the tabs for the tailgate, a guy offered his help, and helped by ripping the metal around the tab with channel locks, like they were a can opener. One more dead bed. Didn't get much but these: They're Calmini control arms and a link for a Suzuki Sidekick. Paid $20 for all 3, and already sold em for $100. Didn't mind making a profit cause they're not Comanche parts.
  20. Looks like a Ranger for one reason or another. I think the mounts'd need modifying.
  21. Can we put ones we'd like on here on this post? I like this one: Not really these, but I wanted to see them together just for this one post:
  22. My back ended up 2.25" up, and the only thing I had to do with it was drop one of the brake line brackets down. It's super simple, almost like doing nothing at all.
  23. I dented my GMCs hood from dancing on it. I was sad. I saw one of those on an XJ in town. It actually looked quite stylish, and I'm no ricer!
  24. The jy's all I've got on my schedule tomorrow! Well, I also have to buy a header, but that only takes 20 minutes.
  25. That is nice work! Fender and front panels look like they lined up perfectly!
