  1. I believe it to be the original but i stuck a clear piece of hose on the end at the intake and you can watch the oil come through into the intake
  2. Ok i checked the tube. Its wide open and theres a lip on the end fitting that provents it from going to far in
  3. But the other ones the one thats transporting oil with the motor running theres a slight vaccum on the pcv side
  4. I have one on stand by but i wasnt sure if it would play nice with the vacuum from the intake
  5. I'm not sure its the same line from when i got the truck
  6. Ive got an 88 comanche i just h.o swapped. The small vent line in the back of the valve cover that connects to the intake is being used to consume oil. The intake pulls the oil from the valve train. The valve cover seems fine even did cruisers mod to it but it still sucks oil. Any ideas?
  7. well i tore the motor out of the old girl to find s bad crank , two bad pistons and a bad block so yea but it still ran
  8. Thanks man
  9. Hey guys and girls I'm looking for the hardware to hold the monifolds to the head on a renix 4.0l thanks
  10. well guys and gals its been forever. but i found a sending unit at the local junkyard and its in perfect shape. so ive been enjoying driving it around without having to work on it everyday
  11. Sorry it's an 88 with the 4.0 and an 18 Gallon tank
  12. Hey guys I am in need of a sending unit for a short bed fuel injection comanche. I can't drive my truck until I find one so I'll pay what your asking for one. Thanks
  13. well guys Ive been away for a while. but the Comanche is still keeping me on my toes. i found out how hard it was to find a sending unit, being mine rotted out and started puking gas everywhere. on the bright side i found a mint short box with the tailgate and lights at the local junkyard for 300 bucks. so ill be posting more pictures this summer when i get the box on the truck.
  14. man i love a white mj. if you still got that ax15 kicking around i have one thats missing 5th gear id love to rebuild.
  15. I'm a little confused on what your asking about?
  16. well my jeep was having problems lately and in the fun of figuring that out i havent been updating this build. so some of the problem turned out to be the egr valve which was prescribed by svtpete. also the freeze plug in the back of the head started to leak on me so i manned up one weekend and tackled that job. also my dad gave me a diamond plate tool box for the truck so i swapped that out from this to this last of all i have to mention how great rockauto is. they have something that i never would have thought that they would have had the factory book brand new!!!
  17. I get air threw the solenoid with the key on or off and with the wires plugs un or not
  18. I believe so. If I unplug the solenoid while the trucks running it wants to stall. So it should have power
  19. Is there a temp sensor that tells the ecu that the engine is cold and needs the egr to open
  20. I don't think so. The egr isn't open all the time so I doubt the solenoid is letting it through. But that being said what tells the ecu to to tell the solenoid to open. Because it I keep it closed the truck is fine ( at operating temp that is)
  21. How would I go about testing that. The egr and transducer are new.
  22. Ok so my dad started to help me out. I guess he felt bad for me lol. But we disconnected the vacuum hose to the egr and it runs fine hot no problems at all. For some reason the egr opens up a little at low rpms when its at operating temp. So has anyone even had a egr solenoid go bad ?
  23. Ok so I tested the fuel pump. Tuning the key on it jumps (can't tell being a one man team) tp around 30-40 area. But it will drop off in a second or two. at idle it's around 32 psi. With the vacuum off it jumps to 40 psi Now with the vacuum on and getting it to do the power loss the psi up near 40. So my fuel pump doesn't seem to be the problem
