  1. it could be the official GLC truck :brows:
  2. I'm really tempted, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to save the cab.
  3. i always love seeing your wheelin pics. i gotta make it out west one of these years.
  4. so when are you gonna sell this one?
  5. you, my friend, just ruined my day. i saw this truck when i was 14 when it was for sale and was really close to buying it. the price was right, but it was 2 wheel drive and i didnt know the ease of converting it.
  6. i can't believe UW lost to Cornell :fs1: they were out "smarted" by a ivy-league school.

yes this sucks. absolutely beautiful this past week and now its snowing.
  9. except that truck has way more than 6.5" of lift. i went with the SYE because i was having vibrations.
  10. i don't know, do you? do you have any vibrations?
  11. i hate that fawking law. i think WI is getting rid of it soon.

  13. bump
  14. ok thanks guys. my decision has been made.
  15. Yeah, I cut mine just below the body line there, then folded it level with the body line. It shows how I did it step by step in my build thread. from the times you wheeled it, did you ever hit the bed slider or get hung up on the lower portion of the bumper?
  16. welcome!
  17. ya maybe he will post on the forums.
  18. exactly. my bumper is the lowest point now and i still hit the quarters. thanks for the advice everyone.
  19. i think some (all?) of the newer GM duramax diesels had aluminum rear driveshafts. i know i seen one turned into a pretzel at the local diesel pulls last summer.
  20. so you cut below the flared out portion too it looks like...
  21. i am still running strong with my Timken unit bearings 3.5 years later.
  22. VERY NICE!
  23. mine with Warn M8000, solenoid box under the hood.
  24. after hitting my lower rear quarters on everything and having them all smashed up, i feel its time to cut the bed up a little. here is a MS Paint plan. i would have a 2x5 slider under the bed tied into the rear bumper and mounted to the frame. the cut would be below the "flared" body line for ease of bumper attachment but i don't know how that would look. my old man thinks i should cut lower but that wouldnt really gain any clearance.
  25. I'm baffled as to why the reserve is launching fluid too... i have a Wilwood prop valve under the hood.
