haha i used to use that trick on online games when i was a little kid  people always got so mad when i told them they would win if they pressed alt f4 and then i won because they quit hahahaha its great. also a good short cut to save yourself from using the mouse too much haha
  3. welcome  fresh conversation is very welcome :D D44 in your MJ or D35? And if your too embarrassed to ask a dumb question pm one to me. ive asked all the dumb questions i know haha and if not ill post it for you  I'm always glad to learn something new about mjs
  4. I'm in love    that is gorgeous. I understand if not, but if you don't mind did you get a good deal on it??

  6. get the tail lights and check for a d44 in that boneyard ;) but back to the point check this site for the vac hose diagram... it has alot of diagrams. http://www.greatlakesxj.com/tech.html
  7. so if my "softball" breaks down can i replace it with a "blimp"? not to give me cruise controll or anything just because of part availability. mainly curiosity haha
  8. Yeah i would definately check all vaccum hoses. I was ready to replace all the plugs wires and distributor on a friends car when i discovered it had a break booster vaccum hose loose. sounds like a similar problem
  9. my truck doesnt have cruise controll, should it still have one of these things?
  10. and chris christopherson and johny cash :D
  11. i wasnt there its a second hand story ;)
  12. psychobily freakout is on i think guitar hero 3... maybe 2?
  13. i'm not bragging at all but i have alot of practice oa welding so i think i can do it if i try. i really want the ability to weld aluminum. has anyone tried the oa alminum welding?
  14. or it could have been the opposite. it coudl have been a mutt and he was calling it a ford. idk
  15. which state did it get kidnapped in?
  16. thats what i love about living on the farm, atleast ive got a barn =p
  17. So I can OA weld alluminum with those rods?? I never even thought about OA welding aluminum but it wouldnt be very hard. i woud need to practice some because it has a low melting point compared to steel. Any tips on how to do it?
  18. Ok i see where the wires were crossed now. The guy was trying to sell my dad the truck and wanted to make it seem as rare as possible so he put the MUTT's story behind the Ford. My dad didn't buy it regardless haha.
  19. OA welding is a little rough on thick metal, especialy if your welding thick to thin. Before you do anything i would take a couple pieces the same size and material of what i was going to weld and practice. then whe you actually go to weld everything keep plenty of vice grips around and a good welding hammer. it also really helps to get a good grinder with a cut off blade on it. if you mess up a weld just smoothe it out and go over it. also make sure you throw heat more toward the thicker metal if necesarry. oh! and of course good glasses are a must, and don't go too dark with the glasses. you need protection but you also need to see. number four or five is acceptable, not 9 or ten
  20. MJ is Dead - Just because your mj won't start its not a piece of crap, its a masterpiece waiting to happen  btw sorry I'm off topic
  21. gotcya. i really don't know enough about the subject to argue it. jsut one story about one vehicle, and somone could have definately got their wires crossed before it got to me haha. I just thought it was very interesting. what exactly is a mutt?
  22. haha i definately have. gotta love white zombie. horton heat is great too but i wish guitar hero wouldnt have mainstreamed it :fs1:
  23. I'm glad mine isn't. I like the ability to weld whatever i want to to it if i have to, and i can't afford an aluminum welder haha. but i do seriously wish i had just a small aluminum welder. I have an alumimum cross box under my barn that is a quarter inch too short to fit in my bed and i don't want to cut the bed up. so sad :( :(
  24. haha i have used a comealong and a weeping wilow tree to "hoist" cars before. That is as shade tree as it gets
  25. Maybe it wasnt ifs/irs under the fords, I think it was a weird A frame design or something, but whatever it was they did flip like mad. I'm just going based on the storey i was told yesterday, and i know it was all based on the ford because thats the vehicle my dad was looking at and even considered buying, but of course the guy wanted 3,500 for a car that was locked up and rusted to pieces. :ack:
