was suppose to be a budget build although I'm already way past my budget ...guess thats jeep for you ..anyway went with the cheapest lift i could find which was rough country just cleaned up and painted the stock mj springs while i was adding the extra leaf from the rc kit but i think the hell creek kit uses the same shocks from rough country in their kit minus the rear leaf springs the rough country kit is pretty much the same i have no complaints it

Just sanded the dash down with 80 grit cut the fiber mat to appropriate size and applied resin and layered it over the dash sanded when dried and used by bondo to fill holes and level out then sanded and painted... Wasn't difficult at all

u can start by refreshing ground behind driver side tail light u can also pull fuel pump from tank and use a multi meter to check for ohms reading by moving the arm on the sending unit to rule out a bad sender and if that checks out ok then you can check sender wire going to gauge cluster and if thats not it then maybe you have a bad cluster which i doubt but u never know

Fuel gauge pegged full = bad ground Pegged empty = bad power

not much air coming out of a/c vents
Newton replied to Newton's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
If youre only getting air coming from below the coin pocket area..theres a door there u shoud be able to push it in ...it opens when u switch the climate control to "Bi-Lev" if its open then then your climate control switch might be bad i'm guessing but if it was closed like mine was and you could still feel air coming through then you can check the door behind the vent directly above the coin pocket as indicated in post #5 if it doesnt open when u switch on your a/c then you won't have any air going to any of the vents ..its vacuum activated so u might start with checking your vacuum lines or in my case the dash harness was running across it when i put my dash back in preventing it from opening when i turned on my a/c -

Under there has no space to push my hand its the bottom of the box thingy which has a door in the bottom which opens when i switch it to bi-lev and i can't recall any flex hose to the center vent i thought the air to the center vent was coming directly from the box as indicated in the pic below -

The taillights might last longer if u clear them but i don't think theres a special type of clear for headlights i may be wrong but due to the heat i guess the clear will peel eventually no matter what type of clear u use
