Ok so don't know what pattern the brake like has maybe one bulb for park and then both bulbs light when brake is pressed or both light are always on and get brighter when brakes are pressed..in any case with park lights and headlights off when i press the brake all 4 brake bulbs in the rear light up and for hazard as well but when park lights on or headlights all 4 lights in the rear just stay on ..no changes to them when i press the brake or turn signal or hazard all 4 bulbs are new any ideas why its doing that?

Is there any way to test that switch before i attempt to replace it?

I was hoping that switch wouldnt have been the issue as i don't have the tools required to remove the steering but the more research i do is the more i realize I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and get the tools and that switch and a couple 6packs

Any pictures of what it look like? I think he means the Hazard switch maybe?But, you already said the Hazards work. That said, are you saying all the flashers work outside the vehicle just fine, with or without headlights on? Yess all hazard lights work outside with and without the headlights on

My turn signals do not work however the hazards do work all fuses checked also swapped the hazard flasher relay for the turn signal in fuse box but still no luck also my wiper wouldnt park and would only work on max speed checked out the intermittent delay module and the thing was completely toast broken parts and heavy rust inside do you think that might have something to do with the turn signals not working? nd if not is there a way to test the turn signal switch on the column to know if its bad..like what color wires for left and right signals coming from the steering column

You may be right pete bad batch of steel .. might try that fuel tank coating eagle..i think POR15 also sells a fuel tank sealer might give it a go..

Well even though the tank might not have been new but the fact that it started rusting not too long after I cleaned out the rust is what concerns me...

Yes, each slider is being held by 12 self tapping bolts and 3 clamp style pressing on the pinch seam, I can stand on them, I'm 240 pounds and no problems I can bounce/jump on them and the whole truck moves with every jump... nice

do they bolt on securely?...are the strong enough for you to stand on?

so when i bought my truck the PO had just put in a new fuel well atleast thats what he said and to be honest it had looked kinda new on the outside until my fuel pump went bad and i took it down..the inside of the tank was well rusted ..through some rust remover in there cleaned it up nicely put in new pump..that was about 4 months ago..took the tank down thiis week to remove the bed pulled out the fuel pump and was already rusted I'm guessing the inside of the tank as well... is the a reason y the tank is rusting so quickly i don't think water is getting in there or maybe its he quality of gas here or maybe moisture inside the tank is it a problem or is that normal..can it be prevented do i need to get a new tank ..whats the deal here?

With the recent rise of led headlights and all the different brands and designs out there I'm curious to know what you guys are running I know truck-lite is the Creme de la creme right now but what about other options for ppl like me who would rather spend $400 on something else other than headlights..what's the next best thing for a fraction of the cost???
