  1. ATF+4 is for chryslers. At oreillys we sell the valvoline dex/merc which will work for dex III, also our oreillys brand "multipurpose fluid" also is dex III
  2. Welcome to the madness!
  3. I think part of the reason Jeep hasnt sued is because of the case they lost against the hummer grille. I'm sure a pretty good case in Mahindras favor could be made from that suit
  4. I have faux sheep-skin seat covers... They are downright incredible Mmmm Fuzzy
  5. Kinda interested, id never buy it though. I think it might do ok if it can pass emmissions and get good crash ratings. I hope so cause it might force others to bring over their diesels
  6. Fantastic... gotta spend more money I don't have. I shouldve known when I saw it on the machine that something was wrong... Oh well, gotta learn these lessons somehow
  7. So whan I went to turn my flywheel today, I found out it was concave, not flat. Is this a BA10 wheel then? I have an AX so could this have caused issues? Its flat now so did I screw up by machiningit?
  8. This is the truck I sold to buy the MJ 1992 LE LWB 5.2 4x4 Auto, sold for $1800 She had all sorts of issues, was a pain to work on, IFS fail, and had horrible MPGs, so I'm glad I don't have it anymore, but it was my favorite 2nd gen dakota ever... Like the MJ more though, even though Red isnt as clean. Wonder what an MJ would look like with this color scheme, anyone with good photoshop skills?
  9. If you look at the application for that louver set, it says it's for a MJ, so this is the correct part. That isn't a picture of the actual part, its just a ppic of the same part for a different truck, most people won't take the time to take pics of every different louver set and post them up
  10. You should swap me for the external slave bellhousing :brows:
  11. :agree: I don't think that is a pic of the actual part... I kinda like it though, the mustang is getting louvers, so the MJ will be able to match

    Worth $300?

Personally Id stay clear... This thing probably has been beaten on thoroughly. Expect for everything to go bad, consider costs to fix, then youll have the total for how much this is gonna cost you
  13. Yes try bleeding again, also check your clutch line and master cyly (since you can't check the slave) I am having the exact same issue, and I am in the process of replacing the internal slave
  14. :agree: There is very little residue left behind when you use brake clean, carb and choke cleaner leaves a coating behind... Brake clean is amazing, itll even take stains outta clothes
  15.
  16. Well I can't say I like the Trailduster much, but I think the Trailhawk is pretty cool. Except it needs smaller wheels. http://www.offroaders.com/directory/PR/ ... ilhawk.htm Sits on the JK unlimited chassis, that's what Jeep should be building. In many of the Chryco 5 year plan articles, they mention Jeep returning to its roots and building more Wrangler based vehicles. I hope they do, this trailhawk could be one of them. However, from this article, it seems that Jeep does a lot of poor concepts. http://www.offroaders.com/tech/jeep/concept-jeeps.html
  17. If you have the means, I would definitely go external slave... Its SOOOO much easier to replace
  18. I agree with you Rob, although I wouldnt mind if the Trailduster just kinda disapeared, Chrysler definitely needs to do something to stay afloat
  19. Nope, its got an all stock (besides header and intake) rebuilt motor with less than 10k, against my tired 200000k MJ on 31s with 3.07s
  20. My MJ got dominated by a Duramax :( However it does outrun my buddies riced tracer, and my other friends 1981 Camaro Z-28
  21. Or stow it away somewhere, waiting for the next MJ you will inevitably buy... Its an addiction
  22. The pump itself is the same, youll have to reuse the MJ hanger and components though
  23. Oh yeah and make sure youve got a 7mm allen key or socket to take the caliper pins out... I had to get a new one as mine disapeared...
  24. The three bolts holding the hub on arent inverted torx, they are a 12 point 13 millimeter head. Honestly the bearings arent difficult at all, jusr need some persuasion with a BFH to knock em out
