  1. Red with rollbar #3 and yellow background
  2. option 3 with the yellow background would be good. (color scheme as well)
  3. Must be some special tires! I got 33/9.50/15 on rims for $850. I'm selling my old 33/10.50/16s (255/85/16) Trxus on ZJ alloys for $300 (one is less than 1/2 tread tho)
  4. If you SOA the front, you will get lift. If you flip the diff, you will end up with more reverse speeds and only 1 forward! (you don't want to know!)
  5. just watch out for CV joint axles!
  6. I told them about the missing Jtruck information!
  7. Yup! They are on my backside harder than a hemmoroid!
  8. Can't recall if this is posted here or not. My '87 Comanche with the tires I have for sale on it. PS: Comanche Club Image Hosting rulez!
  9. I'm doing the same swap on my '88 Comanche (from BA 10/5 to AW4) as soon as I can find someplace I can work on it! I REALLY miss my garage in the house I just sold! I just caught heck for checking the oil in my wife's car at the apartment we are in now!
  10. If anyone is looking for that reverse socket, it's called an E drive and it's an E12 you need! (also used on 4 cyl and some 6 cyl starters!)
  11. The 4 cyls got AX-5 or possibly SR5/T5 (only saw a couple in '84/85 XJs so far)
  12. Not really. It was a 258 to begin with!
  13. I don't know if any MJs did, but I have seen several XJs with AW4 and 4 cyl. One of the trans is sitting in a junkyard in Bellingham, WA, but they think it is solid gold plated or it would've gone into my '86 4 cyl Comanche! The flexplate is different than the 904 one. The 4 cyl got MPFI late in '90 and those are the only ones I saw with the AW4. It uses the same throttle body as the later TJs and CPS as the 4.0L. Wish I'd had my camera with me the last time I saw one of these rigs!
  14. So far I have converted 6 to 4x4. Not hard to do after the first one! Now putting a 4.0L with the EFI into my '84 J10 is a quest!
  15. I welded new pads on my axle exactly 180 degrees from the OEM. If you go to tilt it at the trans, vibration will get higher as the angle increases (this is with it running) Using a double cardan rear shaft (with a SYE and 2 piece shaft or specially done 1 piece shaft) will curb the vibes and you can point the axle directly at the trans.
  16. The in service replacement AX-15 that Jeep put in place of the BA 10/5 under warranty was 21 spline till '08/90.
  17. Anyone check out '87 Dakota lights? They were a year to themselves. (according to Dodge) That's what I measured.
  18. I think the one in my '87 is like that too. I have just the front and rear bottom lines hooked right now. (my hoses are fairly recent and I have '87 YJ hoses for extra length)
