So I had a new drive shaft made. I only had 200$ in my account so I told the shop that I want the cheapest thing they could make but because it took them so long to make it, the owner hooked me up with beefier tube so this shaft should hold up real well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The stock shaft was actually perfect because of the yoke convertor for the 8.8 it moved the driveshaft back to the stock position.

This probably is a stupid question but what do you mean when you say eye to eye? like the center of the bearing cap?

So looks like 50 inches. Is that yoke to yoke or what?

But if someone could get me the length that'd be awesome!

Id get one buy i am saving for a stroker kit so I'm just going to replace it with a stock one for now.

Blew up my rear drive shaft and made it home 5 miles with just the front going. But when j got home there was ATF on my rear axle, should I no drive it around without the yoke on the output shaft? How could ATF from the transfer case even get back there? Also could someone hit me with a stock length of a long wheel base drive shaft? thanks!!

Also blew up my rear drive shaft. I was crawling over 2 rocks and then next thing I know my rear tires aren't spinning. My drive shaft just gave up. When I got home after a 5 miles drive in front wheel drive my rear end was dripping atf so somehow the atf from the transfer case ended up on my ford 8.8 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm I'm this jeep Cherokee face book group and I like it but there's so many people that just hate on you and tell you that you can't do it. It gets so annoying. Damn it rough country! The wrong end came disconnected!!! Lol. Today when I was driving I heard a pop and then when I was at the local hardware store a guy asked "what's that thing hanging down by the diff?" It was the RC away bar disconnect. The bolt came out of the top. Weird because it had a lock but on it. I need to do some research because I don't know what I need to keep and what needs to stay in order. I'm labeling everything very well so that I can put it all back if needed though.
