  1. I have owned several gen 1 (87-96) Dodge Dakotas and the spare tire hoist is very similar. When I get around to it I'm going to see if the guts will fit into my Comanche's.
  2. The eBay listing is for an automatic transmission equipped vehicle. Auto shafts are slightly longer than the one for the AX 15. You can take the auto driveshaft to a driveshaft shop and have it shortened to fit. I recently had one shortened and it cost me under $40. In the tech section there is a chart with driveshaft lengths. Hope this helps
  3. Yokes are different for 98 231 tc. I had to swap in a new style yoke to fit my 98 tc. I bet your old yoke can't slip onto the tc output shaft.
  4. Nearing completion of my 90 2wd to 4wd conversion. It is a manual that came with 3.07 gears. I found a 97 YJ 4wd AX-15 on Craigslist, re-clocked it. Also purchased a 8.25 rear with 3.55 gear from a 2000 xj. Front axle and np231 from a 98 auto xj. Took the front driveshaft and had it shortened for $39. Rear driveshaft from a 92 2 Wd xj (just swapped out front yoke) New brakes, shocks and now in the process of converting it to obd1 after I install a rebuilt 98 4.0 motor. All this in a year and about $5000 and I'll have a almost brand new 26 year old truck. You should not have any problems finding the parts. Just study the tech section it contains all that you will need to do whatever you want to your truck. Happy hunting!
  5. Prefer chrome. Need handle and the two screws that secure it to the tailgate. Ship to zip 78130
  6. Thanks ggcnash. I'll try that tomorrow. Took the truck to the painter on Sunday. Can't wait to get it on the road.
  7. I purchased the 3d seat bezels back in May and finally getting around to installing them. The issue I have is trying to figure out how to remove the knob so I can install them? Any ideas? Thanks in advance
  8. Try 4 wheel parts I ordered the two seals from @$4.00 each
  9. 95 is obd1 last year good engine make sure and change oil pump as they have a tiny pickup tube
  10. First year for the 3.9 was 1986 and it had a carb and was only available in the Dakota. If you have that engine I stay away from it. Carbs sucked (lean burn crap). 88 was first year with throttle body fi. 91 was first year for multi port.
  11. Received mine yesterday. Look good. Can't wait to put them on seats. Thanks
  12. I live in New Braunfels. Are you getting rid of your 4wd driveshaft? If so what length is it?
  13. Interested in a pair. Been to several yard with no luck
  14. Looking for a 4x4 AX15 to convert my 90 swb to 4wd. Or if you have mainshaft and back half in usable condition
