  1. Wish I could find my old High School truck. Lol. Good luck with the rebuild.
  2. First off, it's a MN truck. Second, it's a winter driver of a MN truck. Third, I hate keeping around stuff that doesn't work. So, since the A.C. will probably never be used, the system leaks, and there wasn't any pressure anyhow I just got rid of everything. Makes getting to the oil filter that much easier too. :wrench:I'm in the process of deleting the AC on our 1990 Winter XJ. '88 MJ came without it and I've fully deleted it on the '90 MJ. No need for it up here, just more junk under the hood! I've been to Florida a few times though. I can understand why you think us northern guys are nuts for doing this. I live in Fl and have never owned a vehicle with AC. I just roll the windows down. Plus I live on the beach.
  3. Feul?..lol. Ok, there is a lock ring with three small tabs sticking out where it attaches to the tank. Now take a flat head screw driver and butt it up to one of those tabs and tap the back of the handle untill the ring unscrews. Same direction as bolt or screw as well, left loose, right tight. After that slide the whole sending unit/pump assembly out.
  4. Napa/Echlin High Altitude CPSPN: ECH CSS637 Price: $46.99
  5. Sorry guys but won't get to do much to her for about three more weeks cause my unit has ECT starting Friday in Ft Dix, NJ.
  6. Just the radiator, the heater core is removed. I will be removing the head to clean it and the block out. The radiator is already flushed out. THIS is why Blue Devil and other crap is a temp fix only.

  9. Looks like my old 85 when I got her 5 years ago. [emoji24]
  10. Well, this will make her happy. Along with a flush (CLR), new hoses and fresh coolant.
  11. I switched it over from The Outlaw II. Idles great actually. It's my modified airbox lid w/K&N filter.
  12. Got bored and relocated the AIT sensor. There's a reason Chevy puts them there. [emoji6]
  13. For lil_loco as promised.
  14. Well, off to NAPA for thermostat, valve cover gasket, radiator hoses and coolant.
