  1. Park in next to my Thunderchief in the garage. (Even tho I'm not a fan of either jeeps)
  2. Push button and pull like crazy. Keep your face away from your hand.
  3. What?... We've had a few meet n greets for the MN chapter. We just never really told anyone else about it and it was only us. That'll happen I guess.
  4. What's the correct way to measure for shocks? And also a way that works. Ha 3" Hell Creek leafs, mount mounted center of axle tube. 3" SA front. (I'd just order for a 3" lifted XJ for front more concerned about rear) ^^^^my specific situation.
  5. Everything been "redone."

    93 Explorer

    Or 341000.
  7. Pulled it back from Wichita, KS on a Uhaul. 600 miles, 17mpg, no problem, trans only downshifted twice the whole trip. I'm a fan!
  8. Awesome. Have to get you in on our future MN meet n greet! Don't ask me when... Ha How far did you pull it on the trailer with the CRD? How'd it do?
  9. MN collector plates?
  10. I have 2 mini weiner dogs. Freddie and Bella
  11. That's hilarious!
  12. It was a rare option I believe. Buddy of mine had a 84 2-door that did not have back windows that open.
  13. 87/4.0/AW4/231 143k Runs great but it stinks like cigarettes, perfume and 80w90. I like it.
  14. I'd like to see some more pics!
  15. Image Not Found Teaser.
  16. Yes. Those fender flares are not cheap though! I will trim the fenders after I get the flares so it should look correct. My tires will rub I believe so there will be some more trimming then just even with the bottom of the headlights. A 87 2-door XJ followed me home today. I'll take pics to show tomorrow. It's badass.
  17. Sweet! Congrads! Damn those white MJs look good eh? ;)
  18. I would bet Ben would gladly build you a bumper! I'll post a pic of the other one that he built when I get another new project home tomorrow and the bumper installed.
  19. Finally took a day off and decided to work on the jeep. Got the new steering shaft installed and the black steering column put in. Finished tearing the interior out of the truck. There isn't many jeep jobs that are more gross. The essence of mouse piss was in the air!! The floors do need a little help. I found some of the carpet wet! This jeep has been in the garage for a year! No holes. I hammered all over with a Philips screwdriver and did not break through. EZ fix. Drivers side. (Dark spots surface rust) Passenger side The pics above are after I Scrubbed using simple green. Yard shot. What a muddy mess. Amazing what a little patience and elbow grease will get ya. This is comparing the turn signal lenses before and after a little work. Got the front clip back together. Rampage headlights and a Neohicbuilt front bumper. Drool worthy fo' sho! Also in my last post I had asked about replacing the trim on the header panel. Today I took my old worn out crap and spent a hour with a scotch brite pad and some polish; now both pieces look like new! Hard to see in the photos. Also gotta work on my grill yet.
  20. I think you might wish for defrost some day!
  21. I must be of the minority. I have a brand newish (new Nov 2012) 2012 Cummins Diesel truck. Its quiet, extremely comfortable and rides nice etc.. This sits in the garage while I drove my 88 rusted to hell Comanche everyday. I loved it. The radio even quit working last fall. Didnt matter. 5k miles driven with no radio, only heat I had was defrost, and I froze my feet if it was below 10 degrees. Now i have a 01 XJ. Bought a few months ago because of fuel tank issues with the MJ. I personally find my 25 year old bench seat more comfy then the 13ish old seat in my 01 XJ! Now the ABS almost made me crash the other day but thats only a issue when the roads are bad and I run the 242 in full time. Otherwise its fine..
  22. XJtalk also. There is a guy on there, 4.3LXJ or something like that. Hes one of the admin guys.
