prices seem to be all over the place for comanches with in 1000 miles of me. there was a rust free 2.5L 2wd 4 speed the other side of the state for $1700 which was sold by the time i contacted the seller (my luck) and a beautiful rust free 2.5L 2wd 5 speed down in Ohio that sold for $2200. i saw it posted on a Sunday talked with my father who told me hed drive down with me to look at it that Wednesday and the guy ended up selling it Tuesday night (i think god really doesn't want me to get a comanche) the salt on the road is hte reason i need to find a winter vehicle soon lol i don't want to have to drive my mustang on salt covered roads! might have to just end up buying a subaru. Memphis would be a little to far of a drive for me because it'd be longer than a day trip and would still be over the budget i want to stick to. $2500 is the max id want to spend for a 2wd but have up to $4000 to spend for a nice 4.0L 4x4. almost bought one on Ebay a few days ago but with the shipping it was about $400 over my max budget. only had 68K miles , was 4x4 although it had a little surface rust but not bad.

been looking to buy a comanche for awhile now and can't seem to find one locally (Mid Michigan) willing to travel up to 500 miles from Saginaw Mi to get a clean rust free comanche. looking to spend $2000-$2500 but get more money for a perfect one. would prefer to find one thats an automatic 4wd short bed but will consider any comanche as long as its rust free. please help me find a nice MJ before winter hits!!!

wonder if it has any rust and if hed take less... might have to contact the seller ive been having no luck looking for a rust free comanche around me for $2000-$2500.

ive been seeing nice comanches posted in Texas and California at reasonable/cheap prices but up here people are asking $5000 for rusted out junk! might have to just put off buying a comanche and buy a subaru for winter :(

what does everyone think the trucks worth?

looking to get a comanche in or around Michigan that is rust free (i know its a long shot) must be 4 wheel drive or be cheap enough that i could do a 4x4 swap. ideally I'm looking for a 1991-1992 4.0L 4x4 shortbox but I'm interested in any 4x4 comanche as long as it is rust free. I have a max budget of $3000 if the comanches worth it. there are 2 comanches near me one of them is a diesel for $3000 and the other has a 355 chevy engine swapped in it for $3900 street truck jeep pickup both of them are rwd and are at the top or alittle over my budget do you guys think the diesel would be a good deal for $3000? i know theyre rare but are they reliable like the 4.0L? id be using the jeep to travel to and from school in the winter on country roads with 6+ inches of snow. how do rwd comanches handle deep snow? let me know if you have anything for sale ive been waiting 3 years to get a comache and it finally time to get one!

Anyone from Michigan have a 87-92 automatic 4.0 Comanche with little to no rust they'd like to trade for my 1998 2 door Cherokee 4.0 with under 130k miles? I've always wanted a Comanche and if I can't find one to trade ill put my Cherokee up for sale this spring!
