Wives & Gf Jealousy (& Jays 5.9 Relationship) Thread

She just officially made the team last night around 11:30PM. The team has been carrying about 30 girls for the last few months and had to do a league-mandated roster trim-down to 20 and she made that cut. So, no pictures of her in a lingerie uniform just yet, but she'll be up on the website eventually. There are pictures of her at practices and charity/promo events on the Baltimore Charm facebook page, but they're not very exciting as they don't wear lingerie in practice :) And speaking of wives...post her up! -
I guess I'll start. My GF just got word that she made the final cut for the 2013 Baltimore Charm Lingerie Football team. Birthday 2012: Vacation 2012: At my brother's wedding 2010: Ravens vs. Eagles 2012: With our "kids" 2012:

Do you ever see this one driving around: http://frederick.craigslist.org/cto/3422360221.html If so, can you please tell the owner to answer my phone calls, e-mails and texts?

Where in NJ are you located? I'm looking for another Comanche and used to live in Pennington and will be up there visiting my folks for Christmas.

Going back and reading the advertisement as though its for a Comanche truck actually makes it quite humorous. Rides two... Great trail rider... Has a lot of good miles on him....

No, I just spent my whole childhood cleaning them up.

Searchtempest direct results mode in Firefox. The tabs don't open up in the correct window under Chrome and it's very annoying. Never tried it on IE, but then again, I don't try anything on IE.

I had to work outside in the snow a few years ago to fix the fuel pump in my stranded '99XJ so I was lying on my back most of the time. There was a nice breeze that day that was making my face and any exposed skin completely numb. The front of my legs and stomach were freezing but everything on my backside was nice and toasty. Snow is a great insulator.

Because you'll scare all the kids?

I've always been a big fan of $25 Gearwrench ratcheting combination wrench set I bought several years ago because I use them on absolutely everything, but I think they're going to have to take a backseat to my new favorite/most useful tool in my shop: I'm not sure how I was able to ever get by working in my unheated, drafty shop when I lived in NJ because this wood stove is basically paradise...and it makes hot chocolate, too! And yes, my shop is carpeted...that's what happens when a couple buys a house, get divorced, Mommy gets all of Daddy's money and Daddy can't afford an apartment...so he moves into the detached garage, insulates it (thank you!), puts a bathroom in (BIG thank you!) and lays down a carpet (no thank you). So, what's your most useful tool? (sexual innuendos aside)

Is it something I could buy and hand over to you to be integrated?

My '88 SporTruck that I'm doinga 5.9L swap on was a freebie from my brother, but it was in MUCH worse shape than the one in this thread. Great find! If you stumble across any other free Comanche's be sure to let me know first ;)

:agree: Yea, that. I will lead into the negotiations with a, "how much are you willing to wiggle on price?" If they say yes, then I'll throw out what I'm willing to pay. You usually get a "eh, that's kind of low" response, which they'll often counter with a more reasonable offer. Other times you'll get a "yea, I can do that." The best are when you get a "no way, it's worth way more than that." I like that response because I'll usually get a phone call or e-mail a month down the road asking if my offer was still on the table. I just don't like dealing with people that aren't willing to move on price and like Rob said, if they're a fair distance away, it's just not worth my time. I like when the seller knows that I'm going to come in an lowball them :)
-
If the seller isn't interested in negotiating over the phone then I'm not interested in their item and will move on to the next. I will only make a sight-unseen offer on something where I have been provided a sufficient amount of photographs that I can make an educated guess on its worth. This generally only applied to Comanches, Cherokees, Grand Cherokees, etc. I have been around them enough to know their worth based on descriptions and photographs.

We should be able to gather data from the last shirt/hoodie sale to get an idea on what colors/styles were the most popular and then keep a stock of those. I understand the initial investment problem and not being able to move product quick enough - which is why I offered to front some capital. I am aware that many of the members on here do not have deep pockets, hence why they own a 20+ year old vehicle that can be had for less than $1,000. The first order of business would be to get the IP.Board Storefront installed and tested. If you have stickers/coozies/etc available, we could list those and give a whirl.
-
I'd like to get the ball rolling on seeing if we could get a storefront setup on the new site. I envision it showing up as an additional tab amongst the existing News, Members, Forums, and Shoutbox tabs. From what I can tell, it looks at though we have at least 3 different people supplying Comanche Club swag (t-shirt, hoodies, hats, decals, stickers, etc.) so the biggest hurdle would be whether we can get the storefront setup with multiple vendors. I'm willing to help out in any way I can, whether it be from the administrative side of things (setting up the storefront, testing, etc.) to putting up some capital to get a Comanche Club product to market. Lets discuss...

Agreed.

I drove my rusted '91YJ (which I really hadn't put through its paces) 7.5 hours from New Jersey to Ohio to do a straight trade for a rust-free '92MJ. Drove it 7.5 hours back after getting a temp tag and made it home for dinner. Completely worth it. Only took three Monster energy drinks to complete the trip....didn't even finish the four-pack I bought! Now, if you're talking about the plethora of '92's that have popped up for sale around the MD/PA/NJ area, then there is only one that is worth all the driving: http://reading.craigslist.org/cto/3405496086.html Get it before I change my mind....
-
Patience is key when searching for an MJ. Too many people think that because they had such a short production run and there are limited numbers that they're collectible and should fetch a premium because of that. The majority of MJs for sale aren't worth more than $2,000. Every so often I see one that is in exceptional shape where I'd go as high as $3,000 to get it, but those don't come around often.

Biggest let down in my Comanche career.......details inside
terrawombat replied to xjrev10's topic in The Pub
So very true...which brings me to my latest bout of Comanche frustration. There is a nicely priced MJ on the opposite side of the state from me. The seller has provided a single picture of the vehicle and it looks so-so, but it's incredibly hard to tell because of the low quality picture I was provided. I have asked on multiple occasions for additional pictures and the only response I have gotten was, "just come on out and see for yourself." Right. Let me just make a 4 hour, 180 mile round trip just to "see for myself." How about you pay for the fuel on the off-chance that your truck is actually just a heaping pile of rotted metal that would be better off donated to the local scrapyard? Yea, I don't think that's going to happen. Or, we can take advantage of this thing called a camera. You know, those things that even the crappiest cell phones come with standard nowadays? How about we use that and snap a couple of pictures of the truck that aren't taken from 300 yards away. Maybe?
