  1. We are up to 57 garments requested :ack: I will keep the garment requesting until this Friday 11/19 for those who don't get online all that often. I will then PM everybody with their order, a total and my paypal/mailing address.
  2. Email sent, hope its everything you need! Whoops, I sent a message as well. He should have all the info now :clapping: You betcha. Additional shipping would apply, I would guess about $5 but I need to verify this evening. PM me for details.
  3. Both hoodies are full zip. The difference is fabric type. I have never owned either hoodie and am not able to comment, however the guys who got a hoodie with last order all seemed to like the Heavy Blend. My speculation is that the base pricing is set by the manufacturer to reflect the fabric quality and texture. I can personally vouch for the long sleeve/tshirt, I'm wearing a dryblend printed by the printer.
  4. Interesting, but I have a question. Could your banker be waiting on you to find a house? I ask because after filling out the loan application for pre-qualification my banker told me how much they would approve a loan for us and what the monthly payment would be. He then said that once we find a place within that price range he will tailor a pre-qualification letter for that property. Makes sense to me so that inquiring minds (seller/sellers realtor) don't know your maximum price.
  5. Duplicolor Wheel paint
  6. I will send everybody a message around the 21st requesting payment. I'll give folks a week to pay up then place the order. Shirts should be printed and shipped by the 2nd week of December.
  7. If we can get a large group together (probably 10 garments, I will have to call the printer) that might be arranged. Yes. A PC would work just fine. When I send a paypal request to others, I will send my mailing address to those who would like to go that route. Here is an image of last years shirt being modeled by neohic: http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos- ... 9870_n.jpg More info on shirt styles posted in the original post.
  8. I had a 100k mile picture of my TJs odometer, but it disappeared. Doesn't really matter, age is at 110k now. More impressive is my wife's Camry. When we got married last year, her car had less than 120k on it. It's now above 155k. Almost 40k miles in a year. No wonder it feels like I am always changing the oil in that damn thing.
  9. Correct. Any more ink color changes would jack up the shirt cost. What type of garment would you like? T-shirt, long sleeve, light hoodie or heavy hoodie? Do you mean FORREST GREEN shirt color? Unfortunately the locations are set by the printer. Moving the logos around would require equipment changes thus increasing the shirt cost.

    $500 4wd MJ

I am looking for a rough MJ to use as winter rig then to use as a work truck/daily driver when the time comes my wife and I buy a house. I would like one with a 2.5 or 4.0, ( no 2.8 ) and 4 wheel drive auto or manual. Rust is to be expected and ok of the frame is solid. I am located near Kansas City and am willing to drive the distance to get what I am after.
  11. Printing will be a small logo on the left chest and a large logo on the back. I updated the intro post to clarify. I will PM my paypal information or mailing address to who posts in this thread. I'd rather not have it out on the forum. I would like to wait a week before accepting payment just to make sure there is enough interest for a complete order. If we don't get 24 garmentsordered, the cost will go up by $3. If all goes well, everybody should have their shirts by Christmas, at the very latest. We already have 4 garments requested, only 20 to go! My speculation is a hat would cost about $15 of we can get enough interest.
  12. Shirt Orders are over as of 11/30 If you requested a shirt and have not paid, your order has been forfeited Orders are going to the print shop tomorrow, 12/1 Its a long time over due, but we are now taking t-shirt and hoodie orders orders again. With the guidance of the "Keeper-of-the-Key", Pete, the shirt options are outlined below. You get to customize your shirt to your personal taste. #1 - Pick the Ink color of the Comanche Club logo for your shirt. Only one color per garment. We are sticking with the classic Forest Green and Desert Tan. #2 - Pick your shirt style. Regular T-shirt, Long Sleeved T-shirt, Lighter Zip Hoodie or a Heavy Hoodie. #3 - Pick your shirt color. The colors posted are the only options for each garment All shirts are a Gildan DryBlend fabric. It is an exceptionally light, soft and durable fabric preferred by office employees and highway workers alike. It is a cotton/polyester blend that reminds me of the Carhart work-dry t-shirts. Logo size and placement will be the same as years past, small logo on left chest and large logo on the back of the garment. The logo remains the same, the classic Comanche Club.com tire tread. Forest Green: Image Not Found Desert Tan: Image Not Found Regular T-Shirt Image Not Found Image Not Found Long Sleeve T-Shirt Image Not Found Image Not Found Light Hoodie Image Not Found Image Not Found Heavy Hoodie Image Not Found Image Not Found All costs include shipping per shirt to the lower 48 in the US and a small donation to Pete, approximately 10%. If you are international or in HI/AK, please contact me for shipping quotes. Cash, check, money order and pay-pal are all acceptable methods of payment. Once the clothing order has been placed, it will take about 10 day for production and packing for shipment. These shirts will be based on a pre-order status. We need 24 garments to achieve this price point. So lets get this underway so we can have new shirts for the new year! ***If we can get a strong interest in a hat with an embroidered logo (tan/green colors) I can get a pre-order for those started too. We need a minimum of 24 hats.***
  13. I do agree that Jeep Forum has evolved into Jeep social media site. I have never gone there for technical information since joining in 04. But, it is a great resource to find local Jeepers who want to go wheeling or who need/can offer help. The classifieds section is also great for finding used parts and the product reviews can be useful ;)
  14. I too am interested in this. The tensioner in my TJ is still holding up at 110k miles. The problem, I don't think any XJ came with the auto tensioner.
  15. I viewed the Comanche section over there once. I have not returned  :hateputers:
  16. Consider knocking the loose rust out and spot treating the areas with the POR15 trial kit. http://www.por15.com/SUPER-STARTER-KIT/ ... info/SSKB/ It contains enough products to stop/slow the rust in your areas of concern.
  17. Sorry for the delay. Seems the ad was removed. I actually located it by searching for Comanche parts on CL.
  18. Rob, were you the guy bidding on the AMC Jeep dealer flag new in the bag? Saw it last night with 22 hrs left. Bid was around $50.
  19. If you need a hand in doing any of the big parts of the swap send me a message. If I am free I will certainly make the short drive to help out a fellow MJer. I have never done the 2.8-4.0 swap, but I can pull a dash in no time flat.
  20. According to my father, the truck has been sitting for 2-3 years and he doesn't know who the owner is. Truck has veterans tags. Who ever is the owner doesn't appear to be a Jeep addict like us, he only has one. Thanks for tips/methods you all use. Rob, your method is what I had been thinking about doing I've got no problem knocking on the front door and talking to who ever answers. I do that all day every day as my job for the power company. I will follow the suggestions put forth here with a sweaty wad of cash in my pocket next weekend. At least I assume it is a good idea to be prepared with payment so there more incentive for owner and it makes you serious.
  21. You just need bigger tires to fill that wheel gap... Sounds like a very sweet rig. Any chance you could get a slightly better, drool worthy, picture?
  22. :agree: Cool truck with a ton of options. I can't wait to see this evolve into a like new MJ. I am also interested to see how you are able to find parts for the beast.
  23. This is for those of you who knock on random folks doors and ask to buy their neglected Jeep sitting outside. Saw a rust free short bed sport truck with faded black paint and flat tires around my folks neighborhood. Weeds were growing under the truck. Looking for tips at approaching the owner with the hope to purchase. I'll be.prepared with cash. What do I do? Knock on the door and ask about the MJ, express my interest and ask for a value they'd sell it at? Or leave a note with a phone number?
  24. Good to see another local here. I am in KC. I still need to make a trip down to SMORR, I've never been. Maybe we could meet up sometime, even though I have one of them terrible TJs ;) Truck looks good. It appears to be rust free. If that's the case, you might want to reconsider bobbing the bed.
  25. Agreed. I do love the local place too at Tuttle Creek, Randolph KS. I have not been to many wheeling parks, but I have been over much of Colorado.
