  1. mine also doesnt do this all the time but it drives me crazy that it does it. Going to pick up a fuel presssure guage hopefully tomorrow and go from there.
  2. that entire connector assembly is available from napa. I don't have my books here theyre all at the shop but if you can't find one I can get the part number
  3. Most of the smaller size saws don't come with the spikes you usually have to get into a larger saw to get them. I used to work for a place that sold the poulan pros as well as echos and huskys. The husqvarnas wer bad @$$ saws but were considerably more money both in purchase price and parts than the others. The poulans and echos were both excellent products.

  7. Ok I know troubleshooting like this is tough but I'm gonna throw this out there hoping someone else has had the same problem. My 89 has developed a case of the hiccups. Truck starts right up and idles fine. Around town it seems to run great but when I get it out on the highway it starts acting up. When I'm pulling a hill in 5th gear the engine will start to "hiccup". It feels like it shuts off for a split second then comes right back. If I down shift it will run a little rough 4 a second or two untill the rpms come back up then it smooths out and runs fine. So here's the list of whats been done so far ; a complete tune up ( new plugs wires cap and rotor), New air and fuel filters, New cps, Cat has been hollowed out, And new IAC solenoid along with a thorough throttle body cleaning........So.....has anyone had a problem like this with their mj. I'm looking for any and all advice. Sensors for the renix seem to be awfully expensive and I hate to buy ones I don't need.

  11. The poulan saws are good but they do make two lines. The green poulan saws are the homeowner line and are the lesser versions perfect for occasional use. If you are going to use the saw on a more regular basis look into the poulan pro saws ( yellow in color). They are manufactured with better engine internals and are designed for more use. Lowes and homw depot used to sell one with a 16" bar for about $130.00.

  13. I bought the old ford off a buddy for $200 bucks. He was getting ready to build a house and it was in the road. Its a 77 f250 highboy, 390 4 spd and 4:10 gears. I plan on trying to get it ready to take to our local truck night for next summer, but 4 now its helping to spread holiday cheer in my neighborhood.

  17. :agree: :agree: Mine did the same thing last winter. I threw snow on it and got it running. Took it home and replaced it and she started right up. :clapping:
  18. That is a Tug technology mt12 tractor you see in the first pic. We use it here for a cargo tractor ( transporting freight from the dock to planeside) but I think the military does use them for tow tractors. And yes it does belong to Delta Airlines.
  19. It was air in the system. The heater hose coming off the thermostat housing has a little rise in it that makes it higher than the radiator cap. I pulled that hose off and filled the rad till antifreeze came out of the thermostat housing. Then I held the hose up in the air and filled it up till the antifreeze once again started to run out of the t stat housing. I then held my finger over the end of the heater hose while i moved it down to the nipple and reattatched it. Heater works great now. I'm not sure if this is the factory routing for this hose. If it is I don't understand why jeep would route a heater hose so that it sits higher than the radiator cap. :dunno:
  20. Went out and put the snowplow on this morning. I have a couple of parking lots to clean off before tomorrow morning :clapping: $$
  21. My 89 MJ has the closed system. The wifes 2000 xj has the open system with a radiator cap. Thats the one I'm working on.
