  1. That booster/master looks like one from a 95/96 ZJ, which are identical to the XJ's of the same year. Should work fine on your 87. You'll have to grind down a spot on the booster arm if you retain you stock brake switch, of fit in a 91+ switch. Don't forget the alum spacer plate between the booster and the firewall. Stick/auto tranny - will not matter.
  2. Thanks for the link. I have seen that before but forgot to bookmark it. I did now.
  3. 217*F to be exact if it's working as designed.
  4. Yeah, a Roo-Dog. That's what I need to get. I get embarassed riding around w. our cute girly dog Cocker Spaniel. But he loves riding in the MJ, hates riding in the cars, so at least he's got good taste. :D
  5. No adapter in the parts manual either. Image Not Found
  6. Heinekin stinks - literally. I think they use roadkill skunks in their brewing process. But when push comes to shove, when there ain't nothin' else, there are only two beers, cold beer and hot beer. I prefer cold anything. :beerhead:
  7. Hey Pete; Anyone ever tell ya Carly looks like a juvenile red kangaroo in that position?
  8. I think the jack handle is what Jeep provided to use. A 3/8" drive speed wrench works well if you grind down the end like a large flat blade screw driver.
  9. I'll take a pic tomorrow if no one sends one in tonight. There's a threaded hole and a hook for a rubber strap behind the driver's seat on the back cab wall that everything mounts to.
  10. Crap, you're right - sorry. I purchased two NOS of these on Ebay a couple of years ago for less than $20/ea. including shipping. Price has doubled! Well, the fronts are interchangible; pick one up at the yard from the passenger's side, prolly be in good shape.
  11. OUCH, $45 to keep my door propped open, I dunno it's worth that... http://www.teamgrandwagoneer.com/parts/ ... d/810.html $21.95 on Ebay.
  12. It's called an arm, door check, like Ebay item # 190101326535. Part number 55000783.
  13. On the 91 it breaks out of the right side firewall harness. I put one of the mercury switch lights in and added an inline switch so I could kill the light if I didn't it. Image Not Found
  14. Yeah, they look okay. Pretty sure those are Pontiac GTP hood vents.
  15. Those are the lines I used when I replaced all the brake lines in the back a couple of years ago when I put the rear disks in. Zero corrosion so far........
  16. I have to disagree. There is a little difference depending on which way you are going. The original early LWB brackets won't work on a SWB. The later models and replacement brackets however were notched and cut in a way that would allow those brackets to work on either truck. The way you are going will work: The SWB brackets need to be notched to clear the spring shackle bolts and cut to slide somewhat inside the rear of the frame rails. The LWB brackets don't need these features but it won't matter if the bracket has them. Thanks Tracker - was not aware of this. A few years ago I purchased a new factory 1986 chrome rear bumper for my 91 LWB and it fit w. no mods. And the bumper brackets carry the same p/n for all 87-92 models. So I guess you some experience in this matter. :D
  17. The bumper brackets for the LWB and SWB are identical Rich.
  18. No, did not John. They just didn't look that good to me to cut up the hood. I'm looking for the ZJ vents (too scarce) or a Reflexxion cowl hood (too expensive).
  19. Steering column is the original GM. The shift undicator is made by Ididit, and is for a 3-speed GM auto. Lines up perfectly for the AW4.
  20. No, sorry, just for the LWB.
  21. Highly scientific. Use a multimeter to be sure.
  22. Looks like the bumpers, roll bar, and tire mount are the all same paint. Looks very nice. :D Now ya have to get those Line-X paint chips out........
  23. The 92-96 cluster will work in your 91. I used a 95 in mine. More better though to make sure the donor vehicle has the same engine as yours so you don't have to adjust the tach.
