  3. I do like that Idea of the plywood, I will do that when I have some extra after a job. in the mean time it held an mj with the 7.5 tnt kit and 35's
  4. I just set up some scaffolding
  5. I will I have a couple 4x6's sitting on the side of my house, as far as collapsing backward the diaganols are at a 20 deg to the rear and a 20 deg to the side, I am going to do the same with the rear..... there are almost enough 16 pennie nails in that to weld it together as it is.
  6. It Works!!!!!
  7. I had some extra lumber sitting around my house. I used a 16' 2x8 at a 20 deg angle, 2x8 vertical supports no more than 12" on center. Two 4x4's that come out to the sides at 20 deg angles. then an extra 4x4 vertical support, fallowed by a 4x6. The total height is 50" Here are some pictures, I will get some more up when it gets tested.
  8. saturday a buddy and I are going to try to work out the electrical grmlins due to some tweaker's failed attempt at stealing my mj. seeings how rare comanchees are can i use the wireing harness out of a 1990 5spd 4x4 4.0 cherokee? every wire going to my steering column was cut, is there a plug "up stream" from there so that I can get just the wiring for the interior from a u-pull-it? tearing the dash apart isn't that bad, my heater fan is going out anyways.
  9. I like the 2500 (Asian cherokee) clip seen it done looks bad @$$. To do the 97+ right you need fenders, nose piece, all the lights, grill, bumber, and hed light trim.
  10. those are still $400
  11. I have 4x4, I will do spring over eventually, I still have another grand in parts before I can do that.
  12. I know I had it done at a shop new shock mounts and everything
  13. the sad thing is that I have an 8.25 ready for a soa, just not the money for everything up front to be that tall, but I have an RE 3.5 lift for an xj.
  14. that seems a little hard to find a set with add-a-leafs. plus it seems like it would ride stiff. I was told that I could do something with dakota leaf packs.
  15. my experience I damn near sharted myself at 35. every bolt on my track bar mounting bracket was finger tight. Could have been caused by an out of balance tire vibrating the bolts loose.
  16. Is there any leaf springs that I can ad into my factory pack for 3.5 to 4 inches of lift. I know that on my xj I used s-10 leafs.
  17. Sounds like a plan
  18. My comanche needs a good day of wiring so that I can gt my blinkers working and everything.
  19. Here are some pics finally I got it a little dirty camping, the power inverter worked out great it even ran my 3/4 inch drive electric impact gun. The back is just wall mart 99 cent cans 16 to be exact still need to do the second coat.
  20. I got coats 1 and 2 of flat black on, one more tomorrow. ran #4 wire in the cab and hooked up and mounted my power inverter, and i also got my cd player installed (no more beating the hell out of my tape deck every five minits). I will have pics up tomorrow.
