I am not risking peoples lifes when i have a beer or too, if i were to have more, then probably. After two beers I am no more dangerouse than half of the people out there who are naturally stupid drivers. And back to the point at hand. That beer on the hood of darron's truck endangered no ones life.

just because you don't agree with having a drink, doesn't make it wrong. It is completely legal and safe to have one or two beers and drive. That is not enough to impare you. i am not saying that drunk driving is ok. But one beer doesn't even give you the slightest buzz.

I just wanted to see that pic again. that pic is 15 miles from the nearest paved road. stopped to have lunch and drink a cold beverage. Darren may be a little guy but one bud light is not going to put him over the legal limit. BLHTAZ need the stick pulled out of his butt..... any takers???

full day number two is in the books, ran into some trouble.... the hot lead to the ignition switch (red wire) is not hot fallowed with diagram and had no luck ran a hot lead to that wire and vualla, my truck fired up. I also replaced the ignition cylinder. have gotten the pad and carpet down. dash and guages all in. now it is bed time. driving the kia to school tomorrow. Edit/Delete Message

I opened pandora's box today. I got my new wiring harness wednesday, went to take the dash out and a few hours later there is nothing but metal left inside my mj. I pulled the cloth off the seats and ran them through the washer, then the carpet came out..... the floor boards had some surface rust.. nothing abnormal on an 18 year old truck. then on the tranny tunel there is a crack. One of the weirdest things that i have seen. So I drilled each end of the tare, then bondo'd it shut, i will sand it out and primer it. I also got some rubberized undercoating that will go on the floor to help with road noise. I will have pics up soon. My next item on the agenda is noise reduction. I am going to coat the entire cab in 1/4'' thick foam pad that goes under pergo floors. the floor will get three coats and the wall one or two... we'll see what works. btw I have to drive this truck to school monday.

I picked up a header at u-pull it. It cam off a 93 zj. I test fitted it on a 88 xj with the renix intake and it seemed to fit well. the only difference that i noticed was the angle that it comes off the colector, the renix goes straight down, and the h.o. was at an angle. the ho xj's cam at the same angle. I also grabbed the down pipe. will I have problems with this on my 1990 mj

ok so i didn't have much time for springs it took me a while to pull the wiring harness and axle shaft that i needed and the header that i found. although the springs on a dodge dakota looked like they had more arch than the mj in there.

I think that you are missing the point, 3.5" is not long term, I am not spending the money on full packs when i am going to go soa eventually. So.... sticking on topic i will have my u-pull-it results tomorrow night.

well i am going to the junk yard with a tape measure and calculator tomorrow. I should have my axle sold today.... baring the typical craigslist flaking. I wish I didn't do away with my soa 8.25 it seems as if lowering is easier than raising those leafs.

are full size truck leafs wider?

that only says 2.5" lift, should i use that in conjunction with a shackle?

is that the long one that they are talking about? that says that it is for an xj

what RE long leaf, I have a 3.5" re xj leafpack at my disposal. Motion's leaf packs are like almost $400 not gonna happen on my student budget. could I add a couple leafs and get the pack re-arched?

I made a bastard leafpack for my xj and it worked great. What leaf combo can i use to match my 3.5" re coils? I need to lift this asap!!!

I need the main loom that goes under the dash, some one cut it when they tried to steal it. Is there a plug between the engine part and that.

Can I replace the main wiring harness out of a mj with one from a simular xj? AE same year, motor, tranny, t-case, power options.
