  1. Between the punctuation, bragging, speeling(or lack thereof) and general attitude I would say your lacking in the maturity section.
  2. I dunno, I think there might be some lingering brain brain damage.
  3. well pete if it helps I'll send you a good sensor to diagnose also, I have the timing belt tools, I'm at 95k now and ready for a change, when will you need the tools?
  4. You too huh..... ABS light on the CRD yup. :shake: could still be the wire running to it, but slapping another sensor would be a quick check. if any junkyard around here had a KJ with rear disks. :fs1: Crap, wish I had thought of that, I've been putting off dealing with it because the airbag light didn't really bother me that much. Oh well, one of these days. When you figure it out being wiring or sensor let me know.. I hate the ding then seeing the dash light up... blah.... Ya I haven't looked into it yet, I got spare parts in the parts CRD outback. I did notice that one time it worked correctly for a little while driving around in the rain.......maybe coincidence or not.

  6. They bolt on. Good luck finding a set though. This makes the second KJ I've come across in the junkyards.
  7. The 04 has a different bumper/grill/fenders/turn signals/foglight/header panel/flares, fairly involved swap.
  8. 2006 Liberty limited, perfect, not a bit of body damage, all the limited goodies, 80k miles. Turns out it had been confiscated by the state for drugs, then sold at auction after the title had been destroyed by the state. Basically it was never going to get a title again, the owner of the yard said he drove it for awhile with dealer tags and then they put it out there. Seems silly, the state just shot themselves in the foot by destroying the title, it could have easily have sold for much more with the title, and not wound up in the junkyard. The person who lost their car still gets punished, and we the people are a little better off with some more money from confiscated vehicle sales. Whatever! http://colorado4wheel.com/images/misc/jykj9.jpg http://colorado4wheel.com/images/misc/jykj10.jpg So all told I pulled about $800 worth of stuff, got plenty of stuff to sell and ship. Got the heated leather seats, overhead console, drivers door, grill(chrome), tails, 4 wheels, power outside and power inside mirrors, fogs, 6 disc CD changer, limited silver radio bezel and shifter bezel, infinity front speaker.

  11. DMV; airport security, while excessive and ineffective, is pretty streamlined. I goto the DMV pretty often, and for as often as I go its always the biggest PITA.
  12. CRD
  13. some pics: hoptober: Midnight at the arctic circle: Holy carp! Whats that giant pipeline thing? You need fuel cans: Atigan pass: going down: north slope coming out of the brooks range: dogs found some crystal clear water to swim in: rest stop for food muskox: So much snowgoodies! Oversize: ok that covers the first 300, still 1500 to go!
  14. My macbook has em, I basically never use them, in full to moderate light they actually make it harder to see, and in darkness there is almost always enough light from the screen to see the keys. Course I also don't hunt and poke, and the homerow nubs are enough for me most of the time.
  15. The diagnostic splice block is just merely where all the CCD buses get tied together, than than splicing all those busses into one, they all terminate at a female plug, A male "bus bar" then plugs into that to make the necessary connections.

    yard beers

I love the beers brewed here in colorado, plenty of tasty beers all around, this is a nice seasonal:
  17. Its almost a moot point, what does it matter what MPG it gets if your never going to find one? Unless your not telling us something.......
  18. They do exist on the 5speed ECU.....in fact every pin does, even ones not connected to anything.... Weather or not the PCM printed gel circuit board connects to them.....thats another question entirely.(though I would bet is does).
  19. No but I was watching the somewhat cute female cashier to see her reaction. Virtually none. Last time the female cashier acted with mild surprise, maybe no one buys magnums? :dunno:
  20. Went to the store tonight, purchased: gummy worms x2 gummi bears x1 popcorn trojans x1. Thank gawd my van has windows!
  21. Yes the RKE is in the overhead light. Are you doing a 99 interior swap on your MJ?
  22. RKE is in overhead light, or some of the early 97's had it in a small dome between the center of the visors like the 96- had.
  23. All the XJ's have this. It sometimes gets annoying if you turn off your lights after taking the key out when people try to flag you down to tell you your lights are on. I can appreciate the kindness, but cmon people, I'm going into the liquor store, I don't think I'll be there long enough to have my headlights kill my battery!
  24. 99 unit will plug and play with the 98 wiring harness. Just make sure you use the 99+ remotes.
  25. I haven't laughed that hard at a internet video in a long time. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=975_1283799588
