  8. I slapped some tape on the rear bumper to dimension were the tail lights should be. I had to go buy a 2.5” hole saw to cut these out this nice. I also filed it smooth. The first hole went pretty quick but the drill broke as soon as I started the other side. I had to tear the drill apart and fix it. So it took a little longer than expected to complete this job. But that’s life! Well I think it looks pretty descent. The tail lights are les likely to be knocked off now or busted. That’s what I was shooting for. I need to pop them out and re-paint the bumper. Other than that I'm happy with it.

  10. I do miss them though, they give you that down home cozy feeling!! :D
  11. you could do that or just be lazy like me and take it all out and hoe spray it black! then use a good hose pipe when ever she gets dirty!
  12. Aaahhh it makes soooo much sense!!! The tipical male only watches a move once or twice if it comes on tv. But on the other hand a female will wear a dvd out watching it so many times. By having your own personal DVD rental machine in your house, you could profit money off of your girlfriend or wife. This man Is light years ahead of his time!!!
  13. Friends don’t let friends run 15 X 10’s. Your jeep will look like one of those hillbilly CJ’s!!! For a 12.50 wide tire just run 8” wheel. For the back spacing I just run the ol black wheels. I can't remember what the BS is off the top of my head. But yull be fine!
  14. SNOW :huh???: WHAT IS THAT :dunno: Its been raining cats and dogs the last two days! its too hot for snow though. :ack:
  15. Its sounds like you got a pretty good idea of what to get so far. You can look at my build, I converted mine over. Well I haven’t got the shifter and linkage or the drive shaft yet. Its pretty easy and straight forward though. There are plenty of build ups doing this, just keep looking around and you should have no problem. My biggest one was the pilot bearing (witch if that’s the biggest problem you have, your good). Good luck!!
  16. Get a chevy dana 44 for the front! Just slap on a dana 300 (w/no flip) twin sticks and your tha shizzzz!!!! That’s what I did last time. I ran 37’s with no problem!!! For the rear I would go with a 44 also. I stay away from those 14 bolt plows and dana 60 ship anchors!! They are too big and weigh too much! At least that’s my style. I have a light foot. Heck if you have a light foot and good shafts you could run 40’s on dana 44’s.
  17. So I decided to do a little trimming on the front tonight. At first I was just going to trim the bottom off with the flares on. But I decided not to be lazy for once, and that I should take them off. As soon as I touched the inner fenders they started busting and breaking. Those things were very brittle. I guess they deserve to be, heck they have been down there for 19 years. I plan on cleaning up the flares and trimming them also and putting them back on. I know the tires will get into them but for now it will be ok until I can find some better flares. I really like the bushwacker flares but I doubt I can only buy the front two. Leftovers anyone??
  18. get a big can of wd-40, 12pk of yingling, pull bar!! thats all i needed!!!!
  19. i took it down the street to day. later i took the diff cover off of my 8.8 to see why the limited slip wasint working. i found out when i couldnt find one. so the guy screwed me over that sold me that rear end. o well i would have replaced it with a locker sooner or later. ill just start saving up for one now. :ack:
  20. nice find!
  21. First of all thanks guys for all the complements, those always help give motivation to keep going. This morning I wipe all the wd40 off the tubes and hit it up with some black paint. Its getting closer to being back on the road again. But there are a few parts that I sold that I shouldn’t have. I need my old headlight bucket seats back, when I sold my truck bed I forgot to take my tail light wiring out of it, and I should have kept the rear fender flairs so I could have put them on the front like goblaser_6 did on Mistress Moneypit so nicely. :fool: O'well you live and you learn!!!
  22. I don’t think they spray too more gas they just have a better pattern. If you go up to 24lb yull be too rich then! wow some how it jumped to this thread!?? o well it was for your injector question.
  23. http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/Fue ... grades.htm ford injectors have a better spray pattern
  24. Low end strokers seem to be around the 230-250hp range. But with all the money your saving from not doing a V8 swap you could put into your engine you would far exceed 300hp. Sorry I always put the dancing banana! But hell whats not to love about a dancing banana????  DO IT!!
