The worlds Fastest Comanche
BREEZE1 replied to Worlds Fastest Comanche's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
I would take note of every thing they have done to this truck. I would research it as much as humanly possible. I don’t think that it can’t be done, its just going to be a lot of work. You need to consider the old vs. the new technology. It’s really going to take some state of the art tricks and technology to achieve this goal. Don’t follow in the foot steps of someone else, step a little further. It may take a while to get reach your goal but if you achieve it. The reward will be sweet. Always remember when times get hard you’re going for #1. Everyone else is chasing you! Good luck man, I personally want to be there when you go for the record! -
Yeah I love your wheels. I was wanting to ask you what’s It like having a stroker? What kind of gas mileage are you getting? If you could do it again would you go 4.6L or 4.7L? Also you say you have explorer brakes, is that because you have an 8.8 in the rear? If you have an 8.8 what wheel spacer did you use, and were can I get them? Sorry man, i'm asking so many questions. You have one of the cleanest and nicest Comanche’s I’ve ever seen.

Cars come and go, money comes and goes, women come and go, but dogs are like a part of your self. The bond between a good dog and your self is unexplainable. It truly is a sad day when you loose that part of your self. Just to let you know it’s raining out side my office window and now I know why. I feel your pain; tonight’s 24 pack will be in memory of all the good dogs that have passed away! Don’t laugh every one has had one!

Good luck man!! A lot of guys just don’t have it in them to take that leap like your doing (such as my self). But those guys will always support you, guys like me. I will always support our troops. Freedom ant free and not a lot of people realize that. I owe you some brews!!! Good luck bud!!
-
You know every one I talk to (including me) says they get headaches when drinking bud!!!!!???? I can drink anything else like a fish and be good but two or three bud’s in the tank makes for a annoying headache for the rest of the day. That’s why I stick to the oldest brewery in north America!!! Yingling be-hotches!!!!!!!

Wow you can't even get all of it in the picture!! It has to be nearly 75 feet long. Yull be knocking every one of the road!!! Ok not really. But your bumper looks nice. Did you get the parts cut out on a laser or plasma table?? This is a perfect example that shows hard work does pay off. Your bumper is looking very nice, keep up the good work and keep the pictures rolling in! -
the answer!!! good mpg and he can carry all his buddys girls around. there is a lot of room back there!!! :D also it would make a heck of a booze cruzer   na you can't go wrong with a v-dub though :chillin: [/url]

i had a stock 2.5L YJ and it got around 16mpg. when i put a snorkle on it, it went up to a 17mpg. then i put a set of 35's on it, it went to 10mpg. hes a kid so get him an old V-dub. he will really learn how to work on a car then. ha ha ha :D

What’s up guys!!! Wow it’s been a long time sense I have updated my build. But you know how life goes a lot of things have been going on to keep me from my toy. The biggest hit was loosing my Grandfather to cancer. Now I have lost both of my Grandfathers in less than year’s time. That can really take the wind out of your sails. But on a better note I have taken my jeep to one of my good friend’s house for him to build a bed for it. With me not having tube benders or welders or the experience playing with them, it would be better for me to slide my buddy some coin to do it for me. I have a sneak peak pic of it, but that’s all I got. Also some other hold ups on it is the headlight bucket seats. I have found some for a 98+ for $20.95 a side on one site, but me being cheap I want to find them cheaper!! Hopefully ill have some more updates soon!!

I was running 35/12.50/15. The difference here maybe the vehicles? I was running these tires on a 4cyl yj with 4:10’s. The yj has a better weight distribution than an MJ (that’s if your talking about them on an mj). Plus with the 4cyl and the gears it didn’t have to much grunt. Idk I never had any problem with them.
