    With the new house, the Comanche was a most. I find out oil in my cooling system. I will have to rebuilt or change my 4.0l. I find another MJ 1990 4.0l 4x4 auto (metric ton) for $400. :Canadaflag: In a near futur(next summer), I will swap the motor in mine if the garage is ready. :clapping: Next on the project: :idea: 3" lift D44 swap Metric tone leaf swap

    I am considering a 3" lift for my truck. :hmm: What is the best way to lift the back of my truck ? Could I put the Metric tonne leaf on my truck without modification ?

    I experience that, too much play on the linkage. Did you check the linkage under you truck ? On my truck that was my problem. :roll:

    I think a will stick with a 4.0l. I will rebuilt it with the factory spec. Too much incertitude for my pocket. ;) Thanks for the help.

    I dream to update my 1989 4.0l, experiencing oil in the water. I am not a mechanic, but I dig my way around. I am thinking to do " A poor Man Stroker 4.5l. Need advise from the wises. :bowdown: Anybody have an experience or suggestion ?

    On my 4.0l 1989, I got oil in cooling fluid. I have gone to NAPA store, they advised me to buy a can of IRONITE to seal the cooling system. Having nothing to loose, I just did that a couple days ago, seem to work great. Maybe you can ask your local part store for advise.

    No lift, my truck is Stock. Maybe 3"lift in the futur.

    Can I use my actual Drive Shaft ?

    Because my truck is a 4x4. Front gearing = Rear gearing. Should I have to swap both axles ?
