  3. when you get old, you don't need to laugh to pee, practically anything will do it. coughing, sneezing, farting.
  4. does anybody know off hand the bolt size for the manifold bolts? just so i can start tracking down the helicoil kit if needed. i've heard of them before and do have a little experiance using a similar kit for my bmw oil drain pan hole. something called (time sert) system.
  5. wow, we have someone that knows of such things as e30's. yea, she's my girl. actually, the reason i got the manche was to haul the boat and take to work a couple times a week. i was putting 500 miles a week on the bimmer just going to work and pulling the boat dosen't help with longevity of the car. i'll have to be honest though, i should have bought a ford ranger or something. now i'm hooked on this damn manche and my love is torn between 2 lovers. a 27 year old car and a 26 year old truck all the while the 2007 chrysler is driven by the wife and you know what? leter have it. these two quarter of a century old vehicles are made better, drive better, are more fun, easier to maintain, and turn more heads than 80% of all cars on the road today.
  6. if you are smart enough to learn from your elders, you have half the game beat. :smart:

  8. so, my new mani and front pipe arrived. now, i need to deal with 2 broken mani bolts. the one has just a little bit protruding but the rear seems to b broken off flush. fingers crosed i don't have to pull the head. i'm not doing it myself cause it's a little more than i can handle in the driveway only being a shade tree guy. i do have an experianced guy doing it who will work with me financially if the worst case scenario pops up. on an 87 2.5, is there room to get a drill on the front and rear bolts to drill/easy out them?
  9. it has been my experence that, oh no, i forgot what i was gone wright.
  10. here's my other build/project. not really a build, just my pride and joy and keeping her in top notch condition is kind of like a build.

  15. so where can i get a fsm for my 2.5?
  16. hey steve, have you ever thought about going big time? there's a ton of older (classic ) car comunities that would pay for quality head liners. is it possible to get templates and lazer cut. i'm not sure of the process but just a thought.
  17. ok, not to threadjack, but how in the hell do you guys clean up your rigs after serious play? seems to me there's mud everywhere.

    To The Shrink

A man went into the Job Center in Downtown Denver, and saw a card advertising for a Gynecologist's Assistant. Interested, he went in and asked the clerk for details. The clerk pulled up the file and read: - "The job entails getting the ladies ready for the gynecologist. You have to help the women out of their underwear, lay them down and carefully wash their private regions, then apply shaving foam and gently shave off the hair, then rub in soothing oils so they're ready for the gynecologist's examination. The annual salary is $65,000 and you'll have to go to Billings, Montana." - "Good grief; is that where the job is?" - "No sir; that's where the end of the line is right now."
