  1. Who has a Mj Build on another Site? Good to see you over here Gabe, Its nice to see what they are doing on the East coast, for alot of these guys are Mid-west and East-coasters. You will like it here. ~Ryan
  2. I am about 33 Days into the "Build". here's the latest....Got the wheels painted up and the rear brakes done. I like the light tan on the dark tan. Put the Brush Guard back on. Next is the Slave Cylinder / Front Brakes / Rear Driveline. Then its done.
  3. So 1990+ are all the same? If so I'm hitting the wrecking yard first thing in the AM. ~Ryan
  4. 31 days into the build so far, I need to have a driveline made on Friday. Other than that I'm putting all new brakes all the way around tomorrow morning. However the Rotors are giving me some grief... Photos soon. ~Ryan
  5. So I have done the 2wd to 4wd swap on my Mj. I put a 1989 Xj 4.0 L Front axle in, I tried putting some rotors from a 4wd 2.5 L Xj on, and there too small to fit over the hubs. Does anyone know the year splits for rotors? ~Ryan
  6. Installed the Front Axle, Alone in a Few hours before work today, I wanted to get it on the ground. I can tell you that putting the front axle in alone is NOT ADVISED. Need to do brakes/slave Cyl/Drivelines and shes a done deal. here's the Before Pic 30 days ago. Yeah this thing came out much better than I ever Expected. ~Ryan
  7. The rear is on the tires, the front is on jackstands under the Lower control arms, the new frotn axle goes in tomorrow. Ohhhh I see what your saying... They are just under there in case it decides to fall off the jackstands. ~Ryan 2wd SOA in the rear, 33"x10.5x15 Tires.
  8. I saw that up close and personal that day, that was the last day I wheeled the Yj. I broke the Pinion/Driveline/T-case that day. John at ACRAO is doing the 8.8/Detroit/Woods in it hopefully this month. ~Ryan
  9. Reson46 - Hey I'm over here in Gig Harbor,WA Where is this spot?????
  10. On the Jeep....Good times.
  11. I hung the rear tires up, wanted to see where it was sitting. Looks great and plenty of room. "Put down the sawsall and step away from the MJ" Front Axle goes in this weekend...Transmission Comes out and New Slave goes in. Should be Rolling by Wednesday of next week. I have decided to Cut the stock driveline down and weld it up at work just to get me rolling for now. ~Ryan
  12. I lived in Butler, PA for some time, My whole family is from PA. I bought a 1993 Wrangler in PA brand new, And it was rusted by 1995. Here in WA cars don't rust unless you sand them and don't paint them. ~Ryan
  13. Shes One color.... Painting the Wheels a Sandstone/Offwhite color tomorrow and Hopefully hanging that front axle! ~Ryan Paint was Just a Rustoleum Satin Sandstone and Fusion. Its the best rattle can Ive ever used. Its a clean looking trail paint! $35 In Paint. heh..."Budget Mj"
  14. So, Obviously everyone on here is a "Motorhead" so to speak.. What else are you working on? Here are my "Projects" or "Money Pits" 1993 Jeep Yj 8.8 Detroit / HP30 / 34" Ltb's / Cut up and dented all over. The Man-Chee 1987 d30 / d35 Budget trail rig. 2004 Yamaha R6 Everything...For sale too! Whatcha Got? ~Ryan
  15. Progress..... Picked up some 33 x 10.5 BFG on some nice wheels, Got the Paint progress coming along. Front Axle should be here this week so I can get it under its own suspension. Still need to pull the Transmission and install the Slave/Bearing so the clutch works properly. here's the Pics. The Lift is not installed, It should give the 33" more than enough room. So don't judge its size yet. The wheels are going to be a off white color, Much like my loved Jt Truck. And thats that..... The body is rough, don't be fooled by the photos, But with good color and refreshed black parts, it looks great from 10 Feet. The interior has got a new seat cover and thats about it. I plan to do the floors in Rhino along with the bed. (Canned stuff) ~Ryan
