  1. Thanks hornbrod. Good to know the skins can be machine-washable. As for the adjustments...did the laredo seats ever come with manual adjustments or just power? Id like to keep the manual seat with the "rocking-chair" feature, but have the laredo seats. Can I just mount the Laredo seats to my manual seat brackets? Can I also put the laredo seatback on my exisitng seat frame so I can still fold the seats forward? Or do I need to find 2 door seats? Also, since I have an XJ...don't know if anyone would know this...does the rear bench skin come off too, so that can be machine washed? Thanks. :waving:
  2. For the guys who have had multiple XJ/MJ's and have had a chance to sit in the various styles of buckets, which one is the best? The basic bucket? I have this one, and even though it is small, the bolsters are quite nice. The Laredo Buckets? These have the very large bolsters, and wide bottom, and they are much taller. Leather? Even though they are rare, I'm assuming they are the same as the laredo seat, only covered in leather... Since I have the basic buckets, are the Laredo buckets that much better? Mine are tattered, torn, and sagging. I want to swap them. As for cleaning them...I know any junkyard seay I find will be dirty...can they be simple green'd and hosed down? Thanks for any insight.
  3. Drahcir495 with another helpful thread! :clapping: I am planning on eliminating the valve this summer. Can you take a better pic or explain how you connected the hoses together?? Thanks!!!
  4. Gotcha. Thanks. Your Jeep is coming along nicely. Good Job.
  5. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=684375 Havent done it yet, but it looks like it would work.
  6. So if I grab the harness from the donor, its the windows/locks in one harness? Is the empty connector plugged in under the dash or in the kick panels somewhere?
  7. Are the power locks/windows plug and play?
  8. But didnt you do a how-to on your build?
  9. Sweet! Thank You.
  10. Rich man thats awesome!! I asked this very question a few days ago on NAXJA, and lets just say that thread is on page 6 at the moment. So will it be obvious where I will have to grind for the markers? I really didnt notice a difference with the 2 pics...other than lots of fiberglass dust lol. Also, does the old metal strips just held on with screws? I am so glad you did this...my metal upper strip is rusting away and look so bad. Let me know Rich, thanks.
  11. Hey its your truck, you can do what you want with it. Enjoy it. Sure you can put a small lift on it, and wheel it, but some people would hate to see a long bed laredo get chopped up into a truggy or something.
  12. Damn a Longbed Laredo!!! That thing is pretty rare. don't wheel it too hard! (Not at all is good too.) :brows:
  13. Black Interior, original radio, Id say thats a VERY VERY gorgeous Comanche. You have inspired me to take mine to the body shop this spring. Trust me when I say that is the best Comanche I've ever seen. Great Job man.
  14. With a 91-92 column.
  15. mfpdm, When I saw this I knew this would be salt in your wound, because Ive seen the kind of work you do. That was the funniest post in a long time. Funny because its true.
  16. Ya you don't touch C. Just A&D for the input voltage, and A&B for the output, and divide. Refer to the link above. PS you owe us interior pics of your Manche.
  17. But it DOES look very nice..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Tru ... 240%3A1318
  18. So is it a bad thing if the Input voltage is 4.66 instead of 5.0? I adjusted the output voltage to 3.87, to get the required .83, but I was just wondering if less than 5.0 is ok...
  19. Correction, don't look at it wrong. Ya I swore at mine last year, and the next time I drove the Jeep it wouldn't shift outta first... :rotf:
  20. Again, very nice. I'm taking mine to the body shop this spring. Not as extreme as yours, but I just need things touched up. Could you post a few pics of the inside? Is it as nice as the outside?
  21. don't get the TPS wet.
  22. Looks good. Glad my write up helped.
  23. No youre right. There is one under the coolant bottle, and one in front of the washer fluid bottle.
  24. THE NICEST mj Ive ever seen. THAT is the way a Comanche should look. Do you mind telling us how much the paint job was?
