Anyone know what size or part number the bearing for the Renix delete pulley is? I saw it once in a thread but can't find it anymore.

Been tinkering with the PSC stuff when I've had time. Got a wild hair and decided to swap out the single diaphragm booster with a dual setup from a WJ. That opened a whole new can of worms with fitting the PSC remote res. I'm powering through it though. Thought I had it all figured out with this trick -3an set up, but the hoses were in the way of the reservoir. So I tried again.. I got the right hoses this time. Also got the braided brake line kit for the 8.8 from ECGS Also got a smoking deal on some Truck-lites. I really didn't want to spend the money on new lights but what the hell. (Saw this thing at Publix too)

-AN fittings on stock sending unit?
xjustinx replied to xjustinx's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Just being curious really. I just like over building my truck. -
Has anyone fitted AN fittings on their sending unit? I know you could use compression fittings but with that you would have to cut the tubes on the unit. I kinda would like just to use an adapter if that exists since good sending units for the Comanche are hard to come by. Would hate to destroy a good one just experimenting.

Haven't had time to do any wheeling lately, plan on getting out soon though. Got the itch to do some wrenching on the Jeep so $$$ was spent and I ended up with this on the doorstep; Took the reservoir out for a test fit. I read it wouldn't fit the mj/xj cause it couldn't go low enough. It looked really high when I fit it but the hood actually closed. Probably with zero clearance. I didn't trust it, so I got the BFH and massaged the wheel well some so it will sit lower. Has anyone else installed a PSC reservoir on their xj or mj with the brackets supplied by PSC?

Height sensing valve delete final questions
xjustinx replied to SBpunk's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Ummm ... no, the lines do not line up perfectly, because the one that lines up with the rear outlet on the ZJ proportioning valve is the emergency bypass line on the MJ. The MJ line that actually supplies the rear brakes under normal operation is the line coming out of the "nose." Of course, if you toss both the old MJ lines and make up a new one from front to back, that doesn't matter. Correct but I just ditched the original line since I only needed one line to the rear, and used the emergency line for my rear brake line. Cause the end game is getting rid of the height sensing valve. So it doesnt matter what brake line you use to get it back to the calipers. -
Jcr belly skid compatibility

I saw their first post about working on it on Facebook the other day, and trust me I commented on it letting them know what we wanted haha. Not that anyone cares really. #comancheproblems -

Jcr belly skid compatibility
xjustinx replied to xjustinx's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
In my mind how it would work is the skid would be behind the Clayton crossmember. -
First question is can the Jcr skid work on the Comanche? Second, if it does work, has anyone used one without a stock crossmemeber? I have a Clayton crossmemeber on my mj and I'm not scared to modify it lightly if it will "almost work.

Got a pump to go along with the locker. East Coast Gear Supply is making me go broke! Spent time this weekend researching where people mount their Arb Compressors and came up short. The Comanche just doesn't have a good spot really. I toyed with under the hood but it gets so dusty under there I couldn't justify it. Decided behind the seat was the way to go. I used the plate Arb supplied and welded a piece to the plate then bolted a corresponding piece on the tunnel behind the seat. Mounted up pretty nice. Next on the list is get the wiring sorted.

Well what do we have here... Well I done did it. Gonna give these Nitro Chromoly axles a whirl. Have to get a compressor now I guess lol.

Anyone have an Arb compressor they want to let go?

Just throwing in my two cents. I had the SoundFX muffler, It was shot after a year. The guts rattled loose. I replaced it with a superturbo Dynomax muffler.

Height sensing valve delete final questions
xjustinx replied to SBpunk's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
What I did instead of capping the distro block I got one from a ZJ and installed it. All the lines lined up perfectly and I just ditched the extra line left over. -
Ok cool thats what I was wondering.

Is there a PSC power steering pump that is a direct fit for a renix motor? I emailed PSC last week but got no response.

Cleaning inside of transfer case
xjustinx replied to xjustinx's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
It will still be in the truck. I'm just taking the cover off. -
I need to split my transfer case to reseal it, is there any harm spraying the guts with brake cleaner or something similar?
