  1. Next trip out there we are gonna try the NM route. Been over the Rockies multiple times now so time to see something different. You are right have your cooling system on point. I went through everything on mine and it still melted the fan wire connector as we were climbing up towards the tunnel.
  2. I did Georgia to Moab and back in 2024. Me and the Comanche and 2 friend in brand new trucks 😵‍💫 Section over the Rockies was rough for the Comanche lol.
  3. Ok cool let me know
  4. Looking for both female seat belt receivers. Grey or black preferred. 1989 truck.
  5. I'm still kicking. Got another list of things to do to the Comanche to prep for another cross country Moab trip this fall. Most of it’s boring seals and maintenance, some of its fun stuff 😈
  6. Appreciate that. I went over to autozone and got one. I made sure I opened the box at the counter to make sure 😆
  7. I converted my truck years ago and used a cheap radiator from I think eBay? Idk. I need to replace it and am having a hard time figuring out what radiators have the larger threads for the m22 sized fan switch. I got one from rockauto but the threads are smaller. I don’t want to keep waisting money 😢
  8. Says you can’t receive messages 🤷🏻‍♂️
  9. Appreciate the love. I just try to build vehicles that won’t leave me stranded when I need them to work.
  10. I’ve been silent the last few months but I was grinding away at the Comanche to prepare it for my trip cross country. I took it on a quick camping trip to the mountains to shake it down in August and found few things I had to fix asap. After camping I came home and realized my brand new wheel bearings were shot. I investigated deeper and found out the G2 axles I have had for 8 years never fully sat down on the bearing. They were machined wrong from the start. Big shout out to East Coast gear supply for getting me taken care of with new stub shafts quick. I also installed a stinky fab track bar bracket out of an abundance of caution. At this point I was only a week and half out from my trip to Utah. I was feeling the pressure but I lock tited everything and torqued every bolt and nut. Safety wired my track bar bolt and paint marked everything to keep track of loose bolts. It was finally time. We did it. Wheeled Moab. 4000 miles round trip in 8 days. Comanche did every bit of it. Would I do it again driving it, probably not, but did I prove it could do it, yep!
  11. I ment 200 I had walboro 255 on the brain lol. Anyone have a picture of the DW pump on the Comanche hanger? Do you need to delete the fuel pump resistor when retrofitting?
  12. Ok that’s cool might have to give it a try. I’m assuming the 255 is close to the flow of the stock pump?
  13. Is there a fuel pump brand everyone swears by or are they all the same these days? I seem to go through them every few years?
  14. Few more things for the Jeep. Got some boxes for storage and making some crossbars to mount them. Driving the Jeep from Georgia to Moab in September so I’m trying to get everything I want done early instead of last minute 😵‍💫
  15. Two updates this weekend with Jeep things. Replaced both front wheel bearings and one of the tie rod boots on the Currie links. No pictures of that. The fun progress is I reinstalled the rear JCR bumper with the Dirtbound armor all painted. 👌🏻
  16. Set the new pinion angle today. Glad to get that out of the way. Just have to wait for the paint to dry.
  17. Knocked out the transfer case and front driveshaft. Had a little mix up with the rear shaft, but Shawn Wood got me squared away this week. Good people over there. Also got the Dirtbound rear quarter armor for the Jeep. Had to make it work with the JCR bumper. Turned out pretty good.
  18. No sweat. Not many are even attempting to make one out there. Your truck is cool.
  19. Anymore pictures of the skid plate? I’m trying to get inspired to make one myself.
  20. Back at it again on the Jeep. Little teaser of the next project.
  21. Ok that’s good to hear that it’s working well.
  22. 🤦🏻‍♂️guess iPhone thought remix was the appropriate change.
  23. Was thinking about replacing my O2 sensor, but after reading about the new ones being trash I don’t really want to. Is there any good replacements for a remix or are we just sol?
