  1. this thread should never be on page 4! I know it's RC season but no new toys or adventures for this beauty?
  2. If you're wheeling it hard, make the swap... if its a weekend warrior just run it until it breaks. My first MJ had the Frenchy trans and it was over 200k before self destruction. My current MJ I purchased with an external slave ax15 but honestly... I don't notice a difference in regular driving. I only notice a difference in real quick gear changes on the rocks. Which both will have a slight grind into gears but the BA10 was just a bit longer and louder. But I agree with everyone above... it can last longer than the internet tells you it can if you don't drive like the skinny pedal is the only pedal
  3. So what's the verdict on these? Crap? Worth the cost? Eh so so? They sure look nice but shocks are meant for performance not looks
  4. It's easy to clean the garage... Big air compressor with bigger tank, 50ft or so of air line, straight line air blower, and an annoying grumpy old neighbors yard to blow all the metal shavings and rail dust into. Makes the soil nice and iron enriched. Then just sweep up in the drive way the rest. ... not that I've done this before though....
  5. dude... I wish I could find a 97+ xj for that price. My truck would be swapped start to finish in a matter of weeks. Everything here in SoCal is at least $3k for what you described. And that's without the ARB add-ons. Or in wrecked with a salvage title from a previous wreck. Very nice find
  6. Hell... last time I got pulled over I think I was only let off because I knew it was coming and pulled over waiting for the cop before he even had a chance to turn his lights on. (i ran a red and he was in cross traffic waiting at a left turn heading my direction) Nice that he was a good guy!
