  1. Not necessarily....sometimes a body is so far gone that projects like this, at the very least, give it a new life.
  2. Bump....any Idahodians here?
  3. Looking for one of our staff up here in Alberta. Any leads would be appreciated.
  4. On the weekend I found a quilted grill cover, electric fan, cigarette lighter (thanks to mfpdm for the picture of that), and a CCV hose for $50. Not bad, not great. Unfortunately found a couple of leather units with the bickets removed. :(
  5. Sorry,I didn't mean it like that  ...just posted it for all to see the article. ;)
  6. x2 :clapping: I love when they tell you that there is no such part, because "it isn't in the system." Especially if I am holding such said part. :chillin: Good on you paradisemj...it's nice to be able to help someone with some of the things that stumped us all when we were new to jeeps. :)

So what exactly is a Microsoft partner? No issues so far....still working my way around, but seems very easy to use so far.

    Linux Mint?

I'm trying to find a good tutorial on installing Linux Mint side by side with Vista, on a couple of machines that already run Vista. Anyone have anything good, with screenshots, pictures....maybe a role-playing puppet show? :clapping:
  11. Damm...guess I'm fine then. ;)

    Linux Mint?

    Is anyone else using it?
  13. lol...what I'm trying to say is that they have gotten so complicated that there are an incredible number of things that could be wrong.
  14. "The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain." (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock)
  15. Sometime....you just need a friend to come on over and show you what you are doing wrong. I have had people on the phone, and I could NOT help them until I actually went there and saw what they did wrong.
  16. Maybe it is my resolution, but I had to scroll down AND UPWARDS to see the whole thing. :ack:
  17. Had a bad banana experience.
  18. Mine was a loose switch at the bottom of the steering column. Turn the key to on, and does the seatbelt buzzer come on? If so, you can rule out the ignition switch. If not, wiggle some wires around under the dash...possible loose connection.
  19. Found some info finally, looks like you are correct about short distances:
  20. I do have a real antenna.....whips and firesticks, actually. Just wondering if there was anyway to tune these properly so they worked okay.

Best of luck dude...hope things turn better for you. :)
  22. Obviously, you didn't see it. Damm, I wish I had a screenshot of it. :dunno: Tell you what, why doesn't freakjeep put it back in here, and you guys who haven't seen it can decide.
  23. Anyone ever try one like this? I can find one for $15 nearby...just wondering how well they work.
  24. Don't use Photbucket....Paint will aloow you to create one easily. And no, Genovast....yours is fine. I don't think they should be BIGGER than that, but it's fine.
  25. No problem with a signature....but having one over a full computer screen large is ridiculous.
