  1. Pictures and measurements will now be at a special $20 ea. rate for you. :D
  2. Back at ya!
  3. It is possible to move the ignition switch mounting screws a bit...so if the switch is loose, it might go forward enough to start it, but not enough to keep it running....make sense? It's at the bttom of the column, on the top side. But the ballast resistor is also a certain idea. Jump it first before installing a new one, as electrical parts usually don't get returned. But then again, for $9 it's a good cheap spare.
  4. At $100 for everything, I feel a guilty duty to provide as much historical data as possible.
  5. So it looks like I am getting one, albeit with a non-working winch, sometime in the next month. The chrome bumper is toast as someone previously tried to remove the winch through the front of the bumper (wtf.....???) However, all brackets and everything are there. Plus I have a GREAT front bumper to use for this. I'm getting it more for the historical factor, but if I can repair the winch I will. If not, I hear you can grind a little to make an 8000# work. PS. and I see Justin snooping around this forum....I'm thinking I just barely snapped this one up before him. :D
  6. I agree. Must have been the horoscope.

Is anyone here set up and doing this? I can output from a computer to my 42" Toshiba HDTV, just looking for info on this free online HDTV channels I see every so often. Supposedly all you need is some software?
  13. So are those flares/fenders off of something else, or completely 100% fabrication?
  14. Ouch. Thanks Rob for the pics and info. :(
  15. One question...did you buy it yet?

    Search Index

Great job Pete. I just searched for the word "tires" and brought up over 7000 results in a couple of seconds. People will need to be more exact, but the point is that we can now search for all terms. Excellent.
  18. Drive out and come wheeling. Randy.....nice find. Good to see you here.

  20. I dunno....I see at least 20 needle bearings left. :D
  21. He's also swapping from an auto into a manual. Good to see you here Waytec.
  22. I had a set that I was going to do black, with the inner parts between the spokes in dark grey. But black looks real good.
  23. They might actually be helping. Driving something like the sm420 tranny in my Willys is child's play for anyone....driving an MJ with 3.07's needs finesse. The best work I did with clutching was in the militia, using a ramp. We needed to climb up it, back halfway down, stop and hold, drive to the top and over halfway down the other side, stop and hold, reverse to the top, then drive down and off the ramp. You can't do that without learning the friction point. For my daughter, she gets the same treatment as me from my parents....she NEEDS to take her driving test on a standard. She can do it with an automatic, but if she does, she's NEVER driving our standards. That includes the MJ. (which we bought for her). Learn the friction point....if you learn to hold a vehicle on an incline with just the clutch, it will help immensely. Good luck...we were all there once.
