  1. Any reason for this besides just not being tightened properly?
  2. Willys is pronounced "Will-is", as in the last name of John Willys. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willys Check here for a forum for these trucks: http://www.oldwillysforum.com/ Restore if possible, rebuild with other parts as needed. It's not butchering if you can't restore it.

    Guts or Balls

When you're going shopping for a gift for you're wife after she asks for something that goes from 0 to 200 in 3 seconds.... and you come back with a bathroom scale.
  4. I like the design. Looks good.
  5. Seriously, could someone lift it, paint it OD, and toss a winch bumper on there in Photoshop?
  6. Here ya go.... viewtopic.php?f=24&t=22480
  7. Spent my last bit on a worthy cause...the factory hidden winch bumper remnants....but I can toss some your way when the 25th comes.
  8. Mmmmmm......post `em.
  9. Did you have to post that? :(
  10. I'm scared to look, but as I can feel carpet (from underneath)....I'm sure there's nothing there. (anymore)
  11. Down. Just wanted to catch you off guard. Definately up.

    school field trip

    Didn't pass...it's a no-go. :(
  13. Best reply of the year.
  14. That would be great, not just for me, but for anyone else looking to do the same.
  15. Thanks CW. I was looking more for how people got it into the cabin....the 3/4" hole sounds like it will do the trick. I didn't want to cut without planning it out first. And the fire extinguisher bracket looks like a decent place for the trail....except I have a factory tailgate, instead of your schnazzy setup (which I'd rather have lol).
  16. Sounds great Brent...had a great day wheeling, but still kept thinking about the time you guys must have been having.
  17. Someone snap some pics of this pow-wow - should be a few manches there. Have fun guys!
  18. I mounted my CB antenna just above the rear DS tire on the top of the bed rail. I am wondering how others have routed their cable back into the cab from the bed locations? I also have a bracket for my fire extinguisher like this one: Does anyone have any thoughts on where to mount this bracket? There are a couple of tool boxes under the back window. Thanks.
  19. And until it snowed, so were we. Welcome to the land of Four Seasons. If you don't like Alberta weather, wait 5 minutes.....it will change.
  20. I gave "Fang" a tongue piercing: And yes....it IS snowing right now.

    school field trip

I'm thinking of turning a short jeep run into a possible field trip for some of my Gr. 7 students. In order to have any chance of having this passed by the school board, I would need to relate this back to the curriculum. IOW, instead of just going on a run just for fun, I need to relate this learning. I have some ideas, but I'm fishing for more. The best curriculum is the probably the Grade 7 Alberta Science curriculum I think. http://education.alberta.ca/media/654829/sci7to9.pdf It's a small class of six Grade 7 boys...it'd be a great opportunity for them to do something special.
  22. The last Grand I liked was the WJ. I had to rent a WK (2005?) for a trip for a funeral one time, and I couldn't see out of the damm thing. Bad visibility everywhere, and not a lot of room.
  23. Grand = ewwww Durango = ick and the Romeo = what the......?????????
  24. Yeah, but YOU get to come and check it out in person if you want when I get it. (well, maybe "cheers" when you turn legal lol)
