  1. I'm no expert... but have taken 20,000-30,000 digital photos over the past 5 or 6 years when I got my first digital camera. With the price of memory, I would rather spend the extra $ or whatever to take a bunch of extra memory cards and record in the absolute max resolution my cameras will support. While I "might" never need a Full Raw 8/10/12 Megapixal image, who knows, maybe I will and who knows if I will ever return to the location where I took the pics...doesn't take up much space, or hard to keep track of. At one time when memory sticks were more cost prohibitive, I would maybe recommended sizing down, but now a few extra cards is cheap insurance to make sure you have the most options later when working with your pics. For my Canon Digital SLR, I have (2) 8 GB Seagate CF Hard Drives (I do work for them, so a semi shameliess plug), (1) 1 GB and (1) 512 MB. For my Canon PnS Digi, I have a could 4 GB SD Cards and my Sony PnS and HD Camcorder, I have a 4 GB Memory stick for each of those. Go Highest Res and Extra Fine setting and pick up some more memory to have her take with her on her trip...
  2. I'm 90% sure mine has a crack (or cracks)...although been too lazy to crawl under when the truck was the engine is still "cool". I had one bust on my TJ a couple years ago and the symptoms are similar... poor running (worse than usual), extra amounts of puffing/chugging and extra gassy exhaust smell (while sitting in the cab)... I was able to get the TJ one replaced under the 7yr/70K warranty thing... On a scale 1 to 10 how hard of an install is that to do myself (remember I'm a novice wrench), and should I get an OEM Type Replacement (from where?), or something else after market? Thanks SuperWDeuce
  3. I hope the Cat's not included in my shipment... the wife has allergy's...
  4. Thanks for the compliment... And your right, I still like JF.Com, and have spent most of my time in the TJ Fourm and have learned some really good stuff there. I used to look at JeepsUnlimited but hardly do any more, and am on a "Read-Only" mode from time to time at Pirate when I'm bored @ work. From a "friendly, family" feel, ComancheClub is more comfortable for me. Smaller group of guys (and gals?) I think so it's easier to get a good feel for the dozen or so "regular" posters. It's fun, and I probably spend 75% of my online Jeep time over here now. I poke into JF.com every now and then but much less frequently.
  5. As a "new" guy here I can't speak for long terms, but I think you will find the "Flaming" very minimal or non-existent over here... I have asked some pretty DUMB questions and have yet to bust out the flame suit or even close... As as 650+ Post Member over at JeepForum.Com myself, I MUCH MUCH prefer to spend my time over here on this board... and if I have MJ Questions, this one wins HAND's DOWN! SW2
  6. me too
  7. I'm not going to get em mounted tonight I don't think.... Daddy Duty is taking longer than usual... unless the little ones (3 year old twin girls) fall asleep quickly, which I don't count on any more... I did give em the hose and a quick scrub after work (the Tires/Wheels and not the twins ;))...not perfect, but at least the first layer of gunk is washed off... I think it's going to look nice, especially once I wipe my Pioneer stickers and Black Weatherstrip thing off...might be a couple weeks before I get all that done (See above excuse about twins with a wife that works most evenings and every other weekend  ) Maybe it's about time I started my "Super-W-Deuce Project MJ Thread"
  8. I kind of like em... Will have them on both of my Jeeps by the end of the day...
  9. Ok... tell me what you like better... I got one one for a "test" fit right... Not great CellPhone Pics, but you get the idea anyhow! Will get some better pics posted this weekend when I get all 4 of them on and washed up. TrXus STS 29x10.50R15... I get a bit of rub with full turn, but think a couple washers on the steering stop will be OK for now... no hard wheeling in this in my immediate future... $0...Swapped straight across for the RE Rear Adjustable trac bar that I gave the guy a few months ago (that I was never going to use anyhow since I went Tri-Link Long Arm on my TJ) #1, Original, "OEM" #2, Gamblers
  10. Mines basically gone...There are a couple chunks that haven't snapped off yet, but it's only a matter of time...
  11. I prefered the "Humpr"
  12. Not yet... hope too go get em this week... will post before and after pics if it happens...
  13. This one? My wife might Remember better than I, but I think that might have been the table where they removed Fillings from teeth and stuff... if I remember correctly that was in a room near or right before the incinerator chambers... yeah that one. looks wicked.. in the bad way,, man this thread is going straight to hell  I'm going to stop thinkin about the whole events that happened in that time. Absolutely disturbing, but how else can we learn from the mistakes of the past...
  14. This one? My wife might Remember better than I, but I think that might have been the table where they removed Fillings from teeth and stuff... if I remember correctly that was in a room near or right before the crematorium chambers... Hope that's not too graphic... it was pretty horrific really, some of people on our tour were from Australia and apparently were not as "aware" of the horrible things that happened there and they were just beside themselves... It's been a few years since I looked at those pics, but my stomach is turning right now just remembering how I felt when we visited.
  15. I've even emailed about 15 of the WWII history museums, and contacted the National society of Appraisers. I haven't although contacted the one in Ohio, might try to get their contact information. But with a 75$ per hour and a 2 hour minimum, I'm not sure I'd be able to wait and talk about it that much  The which is supposedly to be at the Ohio museum is no longer on display http://www.thirdreichruins.com/reichsadler.htm From that link there is link about Mauthausen concentration camp...we went there a few years ago...creepy as hell...very very somber... A few pics from our trip... (except the last couple on the 3rd or 4th page of us drinking beer in Munich at the HofbrÀuhaus) http://www.leishman.net/Photos/Europe01 ... day14.html
  16. 2 Words... Antiques Roadshow http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/roadshow/index.html One more word.... ebay! Wade
  17. Oh to be "young again"...
  18. I have one little change request.... . . . Just kidding! Looks Good!
  19. Does anyone who buys an SRT8 EVER expect to go through any mud, regardless of the goofy Turbo thing... I mean it "looks" cool...
  20. In my Fridge Right now, I probably have 7 or 8 different kinds of Mustard and not a SINGLE type of mayo of any kind... That's just how I roll... SW2
  21. One vote for "Hate Mayo all together"... I'm not putting ANY of them on any of my Sammich's...
  22. Nice looking MJ there...
  23. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/car/574031091.html Giving us NorCal guys a bad name...Unless thats a bad typo for $750, but I really don't think he would screw it up twice... I mean things in California cost more sometimes, but not 3+ times what the thing is really "worth", in the Cali $$$. I mean in equilivant Wisconsin $$$, this would be like 5000 $1.50 Comanches, or like 2000 50lb Wheels of Cheese... :brows: SW2
  24. I purchased a bunch of the stuff for my TJ from DC @ DC4WDC and his prices were pretty hard to beat. Communication was so-so, and had to do everything by phone (no real internet order ability), but the prices were lower than everyone else. I know he is a vendor on JeepForum and Pirate4x4 (or was). Phone: 540-473-1096 Email: dc4wd@hughes.net
  25. How many of those eraser deals did it take? Sw2
