  1. Yah they always get whacked or cracked. It's the illustrious quick silver.
  2. Nice, nothing like NOS parts. I hear what you're saying about those tops. I'm keeping mine, I'll just deal with the consequences.
  3. Anyone know the thread size?
  4. Yah they are. NOS wow. Rocker covers and fender flares I take it. Are you leaving the twin canopy vinyl top?
  5. I have one from a 92 4.0. $15 plus shipping
  6. Awesome looks great. Where are the tail lights?
  7. Scrapped the rooted back half and pulled up some of the seam sealer off, Broke the windsheild on the way out, a surprise to no one. Gotta take the back window out next and make some more progress with the seam sealer. And it looks like I will need more metal than I thought to patch the donor floor as its pretty rotted in the usal spots. Awe well maybe one of the donor xjs I look at on cr will have me some trouble there. Ooh I'm taking the javelin 258 apart next week. I found someone on cr looking for a crank and pistons for a 4.0 stroker build. That should be fun.
  8. This guy might still have the bed http://comancheclub.com/topic/36341-parting-out-1992-comanche-in-fort-edward-ny/
  9. Sounds fun now but adding that much HP trickles down which means possible adding frame and body stiffeners, traction bars, better axle(woodriff keys don't like that much torque), and more. I'd love to go nuts like that but I also don't want to get too away from the awesome stock look. Plus I have the cowl hood and I won't cut that for a supercharger even though I want to drive around like mad max. :D
  10. That's basically my plan. I'm going to try to run my stock 360 as long as I can while I build my 401. I probably won't take it as far as yours but you never know. I like the idea of being able to drive it and take my time building a really impressive 401. Love the spoiler, it's a racing touch from Mark Donohue.
  11. There's one of these hoods for sale in RI
  12. http://providence.craigslist.org/pts/3899629543.html
  13. http://worcester.craigslist.org/cto/3896280750.html
  14. Google xj and mj hoods or just cool scoops in general. It's where I get my ideas, then I try to track down how or where it's made.
  15. Seeing how no one has changed the design of these or the cherokees, I would say that it's either a minor issue or nobody wanted to put the effort in to flip flopping the whole under carriage around.
  16. It could be out of refridgerant or the clutch for the compressor might be frozen.
  17. http://maine.craigslist.org/pts/3834385092.html Already spoke with him he wants $250 for seats and center console.
  18. There are a ton of them for cheap on craigslist.
  19. I'm cutting up an MJ if you want a piece. It's a 92 4.0
  20. I do have some black interior pieces. A column as well I believe. Yah I actually like the green interior(I put one in my sst that I sold) Love the steering wheel. The motor is more likely a 360. The stopped making the 390 after 70 but someone could have put one in. The way to check is the # is cast into the middle of the sides of the block behind the motor mounts.
  21. Awesome man. I'm loving the dual projects, but I biased. I have an 87 mj and a 71 amx. Loving your SST, she's real nice with some cool options. Looks like the interior was originallly green. Reminds me of mine with the twin vinyl, except mine is quick silver, black on black interior/hardtop. Pm me if you need parts I got a bunch.
  22. Easy 4x4 conversion. Will probably need floor pans and rockers. Other than that looks cherry.
