  1. CEThomas: I also like yours
  2. I'd like to do mine like your white XJs... at the body line. Definately get that write-up going! Untill I can devote the time/effort to getting actual flares on, I'll need to make cuts so I can go wheeling (or driving period without tearing up my new tires for that matter  ). Could you give me some specs on where you cut the fenders prior to installing the flares? (again, like the ones on the white XJ) Thanks!
  3. I'll probably be needing to do this soon, I'm looking for help, or at least advice before I go crazy with a cut-off wheel... here's what I've found so far. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=101158 Help. lol
  4. Can somebody with stock front suspension put up pics of their spring isolators? I'm looking at mine and wondering if it's stock...
  5. AMC 360 in a Duster? :???: It is quite clean though...
  6. Wow, I was under the impression that the Scout 44 was 3" wider than Jeep widetrack axles (which iirc is what our MJs and all post-CJ Jeeps have...) Not so?
  7. Got it  Man this forum RULES! Thanks guys!
  8. alright, so a I'll do that and see where that puts the lift... I may have more questions later, but thanks!
  9. I use TNT 1.5" shackles on my MJ. There is no need for a boomerang schakle on a MJ. I took mine off of my XJ. I did redrill my mounting hole in the frame mount to increase the shackle angle for a better ride and increased droop. The TNT shackles are well built and HD. Here's a pic. Image Not Found And no I'm not affilated with them I've been TNT on most Jeep boards since 2000. Well, I'm not sure if I need the boomerangs, what constitutes a need? I was directed to them after a discussion on Jeepforum... and did you mean to give a link to FS Chevy drop shackles :???: Again, I want to make sure that these are for use with the stock springs (well, they're aal, but whatever)
  10. RE advertises "a little over an inch" on an XJ... http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Products.aspx?Vid=0B25024044192&Pn=1931 TNT: http://www.tntcustoms.com/webv5/xjshackles.asp advertised 1.5" Which ones??? These WILL work on my stock springs correct? I want aprox an inch of lift (going with .75" spacers in front)
  11. Same width? If so I'm going to broaden my search. I need a quick replacement (230,xxx miles... )
  12. was the 8.25 ever available with 3:07s?
  13. Here's a few more questions... -What about a 44 from a Scout? Exactly how much WIDER is it than stock? I know the bolt pattern is 5on5-1/2... -The Waggy 44 front, what is its width? -And for the D30, anyone seen one of these in action? http://www.tntcustoms.com/webv5/truss_d30.asp does this adress the common problems/concerns?
  14. Hey all, first post :D So what I'm getting here is that there's a "heavy duty" version of the 242 out there, but you can't upgrade the output? Any more info on that would be great. Also, have we decided if a longer/shorter driveshaft is needed?
