This is actually a LED strip separate from tail lights. It goes in that area between the tailgate and bumper.

Thanks for all the replies. Yeah don’t care about the spare tire Jack hole. Just never going to use it. The company that makes them stands by their products. I had an issue with a LED lense and the sent me out a new pair. pizzamam09 never thought of putting an LED bulb in there? Great idea. Have any suggestions on where to purchase them? I’m going to give it a try and hopefully I won’t have any issues.
