  2. that would be cool...but not what I'm going for
  3. ^^^i think you are right, if you look at 1bolts project in the project forum, thats the scheme i want just a darker graphite though, his seems to have a green tint also. yeah corvete yellow would wake it up, maybe to much :brows:
  4. iam bored of white, plus the bed needs to come off there is some surface rust on the back of the cab, i also have easy acces and ways to lift the bed off. i figure this summer i will tear it apart. iam thinking a darker silver and 97+clip :clapping: keep em coming guys. also how would i mod the rear flares to look like 97+ flares?
  5. agreed awesome, thats a show truck not a work truck, i like it. and i want that hood now!! i also love the blackout on it
  6. thanks here to, my wheel needs to be straightened badly
  7. ahhh dark blue, iam never going to be able to decide, hopefully some photoshops will help me make up my mind

  9. So my manche will be getting repainted eventualy, i don't like the imperfections from the last paint job...so i was thinking a dark gray or graphite, huntergreen, silver? white? idk...if anyone has any photoshop skills that would be great i also want to put a cowl hood or labaron hood vents with black accents around the bottom of the truk, i really like 1blts workin manche. any help would be great
  10. well since you will be replacing the axle your best bet would probably be to uprage the axle. The d35 is not known for being a great axle, i would say look for a d44 or a ford 8.8. instead of throwing money at something that will probably break again
  11. i don't want to take any chances with the 35... and hey upgrading is fun
  12. o yeah, i forgot to say i was adding those. prolly first on the list. how do you like your 8.25 is it preatty strong? a good swap? thanks for alll the help
  13. looks like an RE lift is coming for Christmas but, what are some good upgrades you would consider, i will mainly be on trails with ruts and some mud...the lift will be a 5.5"RE kit, and 33" maxxis bighorns. i will prolly make some rockrails, regear. what eles, like small cheap junkyard type mods should i do?
  14. same exact thing happend to me. what i did was sucked all the gas out (or all of the gas above the circle) and bought a new fuel pump (not a bad idea, i would recomd it since you have to take it off anyway) the new pump came with the correct gasket and all, then reinstall. no leaks to get the pump out there are some tabs on that circle, you need to get a screwdriver and a hammer and tap it gently(don't make sparks!) until it unlocks. then replace. it can be a pain to get it back on and to get the seal to seat right, but it is very possible good luck!
  15. now it seems she is leaking on the otherside to, i think its a valve cover or the oil filter adapter...or both, but no big deal, it will all get fixed
  16. this is my motivation for my manche. looks great

  20. Ok, so i have concluded that i want to drop a new engine into the manche. almost 220k on the clock and probably not to much upkeap over the past 19 years, so my question is what engine should i get, are the autozone ones any good??? i also want to get rid of the Puke goat and get an ax15, what all would be involved in this swap. also does a company make a preformance shifter for the manche, or can i put a hurst t-handle of the stock shifter? last one, the po of my manche, welded the crap of the top hinge on the driver door, how should i replace of fix that, just weld new plate in with a new hinge? the way he had it it is still sagging and just pulling away, prolly doing more damage than good. well TIA and sorry for a long post. Cam
  21. well the small plastic line was held in to another rubber hose with electrical tape  so i swithced it to a rubber hose with the same inner diameter, and cleaned the other one. then i realized that i have the wrong hose on the fornt. (you would think a guy that built these on the assembly line would have fixed this right) so i am just getting the whole new vaccume line kit from rock auto, but even what i did do slowed it down alot.
  22. Ok,so i went to my grandfathers shop today and took off the hose from the valve cover to the airbox and the one on the back also, i cleaned out the one on the from and reinstaled it, the rear one was a plastic peice that lead into a larger rubber hose into the intake, seccured at the seam with electrical tape (from the factory  )i inserted a smaller rubber hose into that hose then ran it back to the rear of the valve cover, thinking the plastic one was clogged and would fix my blowby. well not the case, i plan to order the vaccume kit from rock auto, seems to have everyting, accept the one hose from the front of the valve cover to the box. What is it supposed to look like? any pics would be greatly apreciated!! sorry for the lengthy post Cam
