idk what yall are sayin. cherry bombs arent that loud. now some cherry bombs are directional flow, one way for louder one way for a quieter crisp sound. turn it backward if you think it too loud. personally i think that a 4.0 running a CAT and then a cherry bomb aint that loud ive heard em before. imho i think the 40 series sound like junk on any straight enigine, jeep 4.0 ford 300 ect.

My truck has no cat, so the CB would be a little obnoxious...although I do like the sound of it on CW's. I have not changed the one on the MJ yet, but I intend to run the 40 series single in dual out. I will likely be doing it in the next couple weeks as the factory muffler on it now is cracked and leaking on both ends.

Autozone sells a Cherry bomb brand turbo mufler for like $22... Put one on my daughter's 90 Xj 4.0 and it sounds great. Cheap and good.

Now my old minivan I had a CB glasspack. That was loud...

That's what I have, but w. differences. 2.5" cherry bomb in place of the cat, then a Walker Free Flow 2.5" single in, dual out w. dual pipes exiting sideways under the bumper. No resonation or droning while cruising, a nice quiet subtle sound, but when you punch the stroker, it screams. I've tried the 40 series but it caused resonance. Stroker engines have an entirely different sound.
