jodawill Posted August 5 Posted August 5 I have two questions here. First, what screw goes into this hole above the B pillar? Is it one of these three machine screws in the photo? Second question. If it is these screws, where does the third one go? Am I missing it on another piece of trim somewhere? I haven't noticed any other screws missing. Or is it used to hold the jack in somehow? I can't remember.
fiatslug87 Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Those three hold the inner door handle plate in place. The one in the b-pillar is a Philips pan head screw.
jodawill Posted August 5 Author Posted August 5 Thanks! I can't believe I forgot about the door handle. I'm in trouble though because I can't find those two for the pillars. I hope they turn up. But I guess it doesn't constitute an emergency.
ghetdjc320 Posted August 5 Posted August 5 The Dorman GM interior trim screw kits have that screw in their assortment. I bought several of those kits and have been able to use them all around the jeep for trim screws.
TheNerfsmith Posted August 5 Posted August 5 On that topic, When the previous owners swapped over a cherokee interior (I documented this on my build thread) a lot of the fasteners for dash and interior are now missing. Is there a kit that widely includes all the fasteners for the MJ's Interior?

Otherwise, the interior screw assortment from Dorman works very well, granted, there will be several in the kits that isn’t used.

Very clever solution to a very common problem. Do you know if these would also fit the b pillar trim upper screw hole? The one just above the courtesy light.

Salvagedcircuit Posted Sunday at 05:51 AM Posted Sunday at 05:51 AM The b-pillar plugs are a slightly different size. when I cad'ed up some for my interior, the ones on the A-pillar did not fit snug in the b-pillar. I have the cad somewhere. its been a while.
jodawill Posted Monday at 05:31 PM Author Posted Monday at 05:31 PM So does anyone know the specs on the B pillar screws? I found one of them, but the other is MIA. Hopefully it turns up eventually...
