Hello all, Yesterday I installed a new fuel tank and sending unit in my 88 Comanche. Today I went to re run my filler hoses and found that my filler neck had developed rust holes. I'm trying to come up with options to replace it since no new replacements are available. right now I've got 2 options, either I fab a replacement that works, or I find someone with a 3d scanner to scan the filler neck and get the stl file so I can 3d print a replacement out of a filament like PCTG (which is supposedly a fuel grade material). But before i went and did either i was wondering if anyone on here had already scanned and had the STL file they'd be able to share.

I've had some luck with JB Weld's TankWeld on motorcycle tanks.

Prep the neck for best results; don't just apply willy-nilly.

I think id reach out to one of those fellas commonly found on the MJ part out pages on Facebook.

They can be pricey but ive come to accept in some circumstances a bolt in replacement is the way to go over re creating the wheel
