  1. Hello all, Yesterday I installed a new fuel tank and sending unit in my 88 Comanche. Today I went to re run my filler hoses and found that my filler neck had developed rust holes. I'm trying to come up with options to replace it since no new replacements are available. right now I've got 2 options, either I fab a replacement that works, or I find someone with a 3d scanner to scan the filler neck and get the stl file so I can 3d print a replacement out of a filament like PCTG (which is supposedly a fuel grade material). But before i went and did either i was wondering if anyone on here had already scanned and had the STL file they'd be able to share.
  2. I'm not a Jeep expert either but a clogged injector shouldn't cause the ECU to heat up at all. If it was me I'd check the pigtail on the #2 injector as well as ensuring that there is spark.
  3. This is my 1988 MJ. I am 17 and still in high-school and I was looking for a project car to occupy some of my time. My dad has been building rock crawling XJs since he was my age so he is very knowledgeable on old jeeps. I had seen this jeep from the street in my neighborhood. I searched Google earth and found out that it hadn't moved in close to 15 years. So i walked over and asked about it. Long story short i bought it for $200. It has very minimal rust because the guy that owned it before me was an auto paint and body worker and had coated the whole underside. Anyways my plans for this jeep is to eventually 4wd swap and put in a Chrysler 8.25 rear axle. And slowly building a daily drivable off roader. So far I haven't done much. I have swapped in a radiator from a 99 xj and replaced the upper and lower heater hoses. Along with the thermostat and housing because there was a hole in it. Oh and its a 2wd 5speed mt 4.0l.
  4. @89 MJ I was just watching your video summarizing your build earlier today. I love the blue on your truck and the blue you did on the engine swap
  5. Oh and it does have a sunroof, I was curious if that was rare cause I haven't seen any other than mine that had it. Oh and I forgot to add that I'm in charleston south carolina
