grey89elim
Hello everyone. I've been away from the site for a long time, but I'm back. Since the old radio stop working in the 89 Eliminator, I thought I would replace it. Got an Audiovox out of an 86 Comanche Limited Edition (factory installed). It has all the features. Any ideas? Thanks everyone. It's good to be back. -grey89elim

Are ya looking for an opinion on the radio or how to put it in? i mean if it works, toss it in for that 80’s/90’s aftermarket goodness and look. Though if I was swapping that in I would look to make an adapter harness so I wouldn’t lose the original wiring. 84-86ish is packard connectors 87-89ish uses metri packs 89-96 uses the Jeep/Eagle/Chrysler connector. grey89elim
Thanks eaglescout526, this is good information. I will slap it in. grey89elim. Pete M. I'm not sure, I tried everything. But I'm gonna throw in the Audiovox anyway. It's got the Auto-reverse cassette. Cool. I'm really old school. Bought my MJ off the show room floor in 1988, she and I have been everywhere. Japan made great stereos back in the day. The 96 Audiovox was also made in Japan, I didn't know this.
