Epoxy primer done last week 
 

Just finished to apply 2 coat of eurethane paint

Some trimming done today to recive the floor pans! The fit on those key part floorpan is near perfection, would recomand to every one planning to do this job! IMG_3624.jpeg.c03985cb2214e4d2d7159422ce19ec93.jpeg

 

No big deal, just cut where is the rust :laugh:

Also started to weld the top part tunnel from my 87 donnor

Passenger side done! Still waiting for my floor support to show up. 
Back to work tomorow so driver side will wait another 2 weeks :(

looking good.i wish when i done mine they had made the mj pans.i used xj pans and trimmed and cut and got them in.

They fit so well! No trimming needed just some love tap with a small hammer some place to get the pan pefectly lined with the tunnel and rocker

Dropped the bed at the body shop yesterday! I chose chrysler stone white (Pw1) for color, you can find it on newer xj’s and many more chrysler model. can't wait to see the result next week!

i used some sound deadener off of amazon called siless that was pretty inexpensive.it really takes alot of road noise out of the cab.i even put it in the roof under the headliner.

Some rust in between my 2 bed support on driver side, a pile of mud wash chilling there when i pull the bed off, its a pretty hard to get place when washing underneat the truck.

So i took the support out and trying to keep most of the good metal with my spot weld on so i can replace it at the exact same spot!

That was the last place to repair! Still need to weld my floor support tomorow before going back to work. On my next time off in 2 weeks ill be ready to start painting the floor, frame and engine bay. can't wait to be done with this step and starting to reasemble the manche :banana:

What to do when you really want to take off your hood prop rod and the nut underneath are spinning free and there is no acces to them :fistshake1:. Drill a hole big enough to get your welder nuzzle and tack them in place :laugh:
