After you do that and if you want grossed out a bit longer, go clean out you shower and tub drains also.!

Yeah. Front loading washing machines also have filters that become absolutely nasty and clogged if you do not regularly service them.

Also, if you use one of those brita water pitchers, make sure to replace the filter on a regular cycle like the manual says. If you do not, enjoy wonderfully terrible mold growth on your replaceable filter which leads to months of stomach discomfort. It is really crooked that brita did not mention that this can be a side effect, instead they just state "trust me bro" in the literature.
