coheed
Have an NP228 that I'm not planning on using for my build and want out of the shed. I have the original center console vacuum switch (untested) and all the shift linkages for it. The large bracket is where the vacuum actuator would mount but I don't have that. I also don't have the interior shifter or the console bezel. The transfer case came off an 86 with the 2.8/904 combo with 113k miles on it. It is the standard 6 bolt pattern with a 23-spline input if someone wanted to attach it to another transmission. Asking $150 obo for everything or could split if someone wanted it for a FSJ or an Eagle. I'm in Fort Mill, SC but I have access to a loading dock and pallets and would be willing to ship freight if the buyer pays. Would trade for a headliner, a rear wall carpet panel, or a decent engine hoist.
89 MJ
These are a really cool transfer case. It allows the use of 4 wheel drive on dry pavement.

They really are. The chain and internals are a small bit beefier than the 242 and no need to do a SYE on them. I just prefer the simplicity of only having one shifter and the choice of AWD/4WD with the 242.
eaglescout526
If only the manual transmission could’ve taken the 228/9.
Eagle_SX4
The T5 bolts directly up to them. You can bolt one up to a AX15 you just need a 1 inch spacer. Novak makes one. (Kit#153)
coheed
There's also currently a shifter and the vacuum harness plus the actuator with all the linkage rods on eBay currently. Though a bit pricey on the vacuum harness/linkage lot for chewed up vacuum lines lol. https://www.ebay.com/itm/387417894723 https://www.ebay.com/itm/387416557526
coheed
Going through the shed today I found the matching rear driveshaft for this setup in a longbed that I'd throw in as well. I'm super flexible on price, so just throw an offer at me. I would also be willing to meet within an hour drive of Fort Mill if someone could make use of it. coheed
$150 obo? Again, very flexible on price and don't mind trading.
