xjhigg
Hello all! I'm super thrilled to be here with my '89 that I acquired last weekend through another MJ and Jeep enthusiast. The transaction was a unique one, at least for me, as we had finalized the deal beforehand and chose the Carlisle Jeep Show at the fairgrounds last Saturday to be the venue of the sale. I met a couple of you out there on Saturday and saw a ton of great MJs and Jeeps alike. The overwhelming sentiment was to post up my new-to-me MJ here. So, long-time listener, first time poster right here. The details: this one is an '89 Pioneer longbed equipped with 4x4, a D44 rear, the metric ton package (iirc that's what it's called?), AC, and a column shifter auto. The blue interior is near perfect (with the bench seat I desperately wanted!) and the paint has the perfect balance of shine and patina. Though this is my second Comanche, I'm counting it as my first in the sense that it's in respectable condition and completely and poorly modified and abused. Showing just ~87,500 miles, I was happy to become the new owner of this baby. Meeting a bunch of you at the show was an absolute treat. If anyone wants to stay connected, find me on instagram @xjhigg. Happy trails friends :)
fiatslug87
Welcome and enjoy it! When you get a chance post the VIN in the register and someone will provide a build sheet. https://comancheclub.com/forum/32-1989/
