krustyballer16 Posted November 23 Author Share Posted November 23 Guess i should update this a little... Its no longer an iron block 6.0...I blew it up August 2024... Its now an aluminum block 5.3. Turbo cam, springs, lifters, rockers...bunch of stuff from Brian Tooley Racing. I never posted any details from the original build either I guess. Mildly built 5.3, stock bottom end, stage 3 jakes 4L80, 80mm VS racing turbo, E85, bosch 210 injectors, bigger intercooler now, 8.8, qa1 shocks all the way around, leaf spring sliders i built original leaf springs, rubber bushings replaced with aluminum, engine is solid mounted with aluminum, no rubber bushings. Probably forgetting something. It made 550hp on 6psi (bad boost controller). It saw 24psi last time I had it on the street... She screams. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ya, front is still the same, stock springs and the qa1 shocks, I think for a mustang. Not sure whatever the closest fit length was. Comanche SS Posted November 28 Share Posted November 28 Liking this build, I am currently doing a RCSB Silverado with a very similar engine/trans combo. can't imagine how it feels in a Comanche lol. I've recently been project daydreaming for excuses to buy another jeep and a rather raw 2wd LS swapped longbed could be fun! For me itll never happen, but its nice to see others doing the thing!
