So i've had a problem for a while

now where the fuel pressure will exceed 30 psi right after ignition (usually 40psi) if i’ve drove around and ran a few errands, stopping the motor and starting it again a couple minutes later. What I've noticed is that my fuel pump will prime every time I turn the key whether or not the fuel rail is under the correct pressure or not. Could that be a problem with my fuel pressure regulator or possibly a sensor I'm unaware of. Appreciate any help

Very possible. Check for leaks as well, orings on injectors can be common. Basic fuel supply, pump_tank, filter, rail with injectors being regulated. :shhh:

Why not leave the fuel pressure tester hooked up on your rides and monitor the fuel pressure?

It's common that the internal fuel hose to the pump deteriorates and causes all sorts of fuel supply issues.

This is normal. 2-3 second prime, every time at KEY ON.
