Windshield trim

Anyone know where i can get the rubber windshield surround for my 87? I've looked onlie n idk if its the right part or what. I was gonna try n pull it off my xj parts junk but looks like I'm just gonna tear it up.

Use a new seal from a 98 xj.

The original one on the Comanches is metal around the edges, it pops right off with some prying, the newer style is held in pretty good, and is a full one piece of rubber

I just got my outside metal trim from the junkyard, it was free with the other stuff I bought

Damn that sucks, it might be worth it to look for like a used set on eBay or something

the rubber seal on late model XJs is essentially glued in with the glass.  if you get a new windshield and tell them it's a 98, they will bring a new rubber trim with it.
