I was hoping to find something a bit cleaner to start with but I’m actually pretty happy with it so far. Goal is to build a capable little wheeler that I can take with some local clubs. Previous owner had started to swap the nose for the 97+ look which I wouldn’t have done but will likely leave for now. I also picked up a Tomken front bumper that I liked a lot. So far I’ve started with replacing the rotted Sheetmetal components consisting of rockers, rear wheel wells and drivers cab corner. Have a bit more sanding to do on the pass side and it will be finished. Drivers side still needs the lower rear panel patched(which I see Key Parts has just released 👍). Picked up a used set of 31” ko2’s but not sure the 3” RC lift will provide enough extra for my liking. Installed the front coils and shocks first and it really just leveled the truck out with the stock rear springs in place. 43382F92-EFBD-4771-B91E-4BA12CE8EFB2.jpeg.3eee1e241fef5658ddb6ca29e8f452fb.jpegE7CCB4A1-C747-409D-9334-6AA39A47E9D4.jpeg.8dc291a74b67e9bf1ba1030baf0e07d9.jpegD3415BD9-0070-4062-AC57-FC46A6128AD6.jpeg.6b01616b3bc0fafb2578faa844604bc1.jpegCBAF43D0-8677-4FA2-8B74-E019BEF45050.jpeg.b4bbd142f59c1074ee6e66ee35b122d6.jpeg

It needed a good scrubbing but the chemical guy’s upholstery cleaner worked really well with minimal effort. Will scrub it down one more time before it goes in. Keeping my eye out for a grey mini console

excellent efforts saving that truck.  :D

(I flipped your pics for you  :L: it's a weird glitch in how different devices save the orientation of the photo.  I've found that if I rotate it in my laptop, then rotate back, it changes that code and then appears correct each time.  phones are a bit different though.)

Thanks Pete, couldn’t figure out how to rotate them so I let it fly

Got a bit more work done but not finished with the bedside patches just yet. Waiting on the new key parts driver side rear lower latch panel to arrive. Was able to pick up a grey bench seat locally and got that installed with the mini console. Will be ordering a new carpet shortly. Also tinted the windows and finished off the suspension lift for now.
